It's hard not to be completely in love with the design and construction of this amazing shipping container home. Even more impressive than the home though, is Jaimie and Dave, who pushed through some tremendous challenges to make their dream come true. This is a story about finding joy, even in adversity. We hope you enjoy this weeks video! With love, Bryce & Rasa
How beautiful the house is! And to be surrounded by such lovely nature is dreamy.
Bryce, what is the required up keep on a medal container home? Do they rust away? Would love to know this. Also, it seems like it would be much cheaper to build the same size home with wood vs buying a container.
With that said, this is a beautiful property & home.
Great story! Congratulations to the couple and the best for them!
What an emotional episode! I loved their story! Also, loved their home. I’m 27 years old & want to be debt free... it’s so nice to know there are so many options! I love how people are so creative with their designs.
One of the beautiful tiny house I've seen! Holiyday greetings from Cebu Philippines 🇵🇭👊🙏
Being together in a small cozy house is more important than being apart in a big cold house filled with stress and debt
Guys,
YaH The Heavenly FATHER was Who they Crucified for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Semitic Scroll:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moses wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
Exactly! Even tho I’m going to never find anyone to love again. I’m still gonna be happy in my tiny home alone by myself in the middle of the woods where I love to be!
I get to feel that comment every day here at my house, also my mother and father went from a 3k square foot house to a tiny little 750 sf house and they are so much closer now. Quite literally lol
Well said! Balance with work and free time is important in life. Buying a bigger house than necessary and a car that you acctually can't afford won't make you happy. Especially if it means you have to work day and night for it. Most common cause to divorce is money, for sure.

That part really got to me. I'm so glad he did not go to sleep.
I'm crying too... such a lovely and loving couple.
Me too...at work. OMG the love!
Wow
why didnt she call an ambulance for him then and there? or did she?
"This was my best friend." Brought tears to my eyes. Lovely couple. This is the life!
This is one of the "real" ones, this place is not ultra modern from the inside, it actually looks and feels like a home.
They've also been living there for 3½ years, that usually helps.
Good to see an Indian .. appreciating the idea !
I like simple but I don't want a place that feels like a sterile doctors office!!
I agree! I love that they have actual furniture rather than those built-ins that always look uncomfortable to me.
Agree
The fact that they were holding hands the whole time, awwww couple goals.
Y R, Holding hands is magical. I really like your comment. It reminds me of a couple of other stories that are felt thru touching. My youngest daughter read a book and one chapter was on arguing with your husband/wife. She bought a pair of hand cuffs and talked to her husband on what they could try. Argument came up, they got the cuffs and for one hour were chained together. At the hour mark, her husband made her a bubble bath and bathed her... awwww couple goals!
@@danelda47 wow I love this story

Watching this couple holding hands the entire time while beaming about their home and at each other was beautiful to see. What an amazing recovery for him and they are truly a living testimony of faith, hope and love.

I love how she kept saying, "He did a good job." So appreciative.
Well he did have a stroke and she made him build a home to "recover".
I love how your videos aren’t just tours it allows people to tell their story from start to finish and explore why every decision they made happened
Yes! Only one other channel on RUclips I can think of that does that, but they don't focus specifically on tiny houses. They cover all forms of alternative housing. Bryce, however, is a *much* better host in my opinion, and this channel is put together _way_ better than any other channel of it's type. Just seems like they really care about helping people to share their before stories and not just share the Instagram Airbnb IKEA after results.
So true, I agree. I love to hear the deep down of the heart of the story
Totally agree!!! And the filming. The angels she takes of each home. The filming is ”Why” I watch. It is amazing!!!

It’s just not only a sweet aesthetic home, it’s a paradise of love!
Oh! What a beauty!
i really love how they are holding hands like 90% of the time, even when he was making hang gestures, they were holding hands.
Jijie Forsythe YES!! I absolutely loved that, as well!! That was something I longed for, when I was married! Not much of a surprise that we are no longer together, and that’s just fine! We were married 35 years!! Sad it took me so long to get out! I am extremely happy for this couple!!!
To me, it looks like he really looks to her as emotional support, he looks anxious and the way he is holding her hand it’s giving him strength and calm. They’ve been through a lot together
Yes, this couple has what most have dreamed of their whole lives♥️
I don't like holding hands. It gives me claustrophobia. I know, I'm a Debbie Downer. Sorry.

Wow, I worked in neuro-rehab and I can honestly say this man's come-back is amazing. His wife is so dedicated and she has been integral to her hubby's recovery.
It's a miracle! I don't know how he recovered, and in such a short time!

Tears, smiles, and total admiration for their love and devotion to each other, and the home they built together! 🙏🏽✌🏽💖
First I love love love your home! And then I can tell that you two are good friends and deeply in love. You both remind me so much of my late husband and I. I lost him to brain cancer two and a half years ago. I mean seriously, your relationship and the thing that happened to him is so much like my husbands story. My husband had a lot of seizures. Unfortunately it’s how we always knew that another tumor was growing back. It was such an aggressive form of cancer that gave him only two years after he was diagnosed. So now I’m wanting to live out our dream. We wanted to move to the mountains in north Arkansas (a best kept secret for natural living in a gorgeous area). I want to leave a small footprint and it’s just me so why not go tiny! You both have done such a beautiful job. I can tell that you both have an eye for detail! If I ever get to live out my dream I’ll surely let everyone know!
Does anyone else feels that the woman is so articulate. She can express things so well and effortlessly.
Also looks like a control freak
I feel like she's an idiot that talks to much and wears the pants in the house 😂🤣🤮🤮🤮
The man is blessed to have such a loving person in his life. Remember people she saw him through some very dark days, control and hope are all she had in order to bring him through. I've cared for someone I loved to the very end and see a gem in her.
Yes, but would have been nice to hear the guy talk too--since he basically worked on the structure. The only time he wanted to say something was about the floor and she was talking over him.
I would get pissed off when she would cut him off just saying his small point of view on something other than his hospitalizing story. The guy is a master welder tho, clean work.
Came for the house stayed for this lovely story. Bless you both!
N
What a scary yet beautiful story! I hope to live tiny one day! I live in a townhome mortgage free but I am living with a horrible painful disease and taking care of my home is hard for me. I think a tiny home would be perfect for me. Finding the right land to put it on has been challenging.
When I get married, I want a relationship like you guys have....so much love, friendship, warmth and creativeness. More blessings to both of you.
At first I was like, why is the lady doing all the talking and not letting the guy talk, I understood later, she is being protective after all the pain their went through. Lovely couple.
How is she protective by not letting him speak?
@@mariaathena7910 it can be hard to speak after an incident such as his. Perhaps to not leave him struggling on camera.
I really like the couple and may be she is extremely protective of him but it would be nice if she doesn’t interrupt him. Beautifully brilliant house BTW
I went through this with my partner. I had a brain injury and some other health complications that often made it hard for me to talk, literally saying words or just trying to say them in the way/order I wanted to. Many conversations we had with other people were things that we had discussed in depth as a couple and so we had little (almost unconscious) queues that indicated when I needed him to do the talking because I couldn't get there on my own. Over the years, as I recovered, that dynamic shifted back to me speaking more for myself as I was able to. Having him as verbal backup really helped deal with the stress of socializing when I was feeling impaired cognitively and physically.
She's super annoying
I didn't see a house in the video; I only saw love.
And a house
Very sweet. I love this
That was one of the sweetest lines I’ve ever read. 😍
It's a HOME!
Yeah kinda :D
Dave is awesome! I am so happy that he survived the stroke, and that the building of this home helped him recover. I also love his spirit and adventurous attitude. I love the idea of the bridge and zip line! It is an awesome location. Oh put a small pond under the bridge, and it would be perfect! I believe they have a beautiful home and my biased opinion the best location on earth. I really miss the Pacific Northwest, the forests, the wildlife, the rivers and real hills and mountains! Oh and Especially the Pacific Ocean and the small coastal towns. I am jealous.
So not having a mortgage, and lower cost of living, I am sure they can pay off any medical debt they incurred quickly.
Life definitely isn't fair, and too often it seems as if it actually goes out of its way to test our resolve. This couple showed life they have the unwavering bravery, love and determination it takes, to manage the impossible, and beat the odds! What a great couple and a blessed outcome.

Oh, I so agree with you!
Agreed!! And i REALLY loved this tiny home! Their story just makes it that much more meaningful! 💝
One thing that impresses me is that they've been living in the house for three years. In most of the videos, the occupants have spent a short time. I like it that these people have lived there and experienced life there. Also, they are not house bound, but active and outside. That's a real advantage to this type of living. Positive and up beat people, even after much adversity. Good on you.
Oh so true, taylorjmark !!!
also they own the land. so many of these tiny house people live on someone else's land.
@@Cody_Ramer So true! I wanted to see their workshop too, because that's part of the package. I think it would be very difficult to live on somebody's land without owning because you never know what might happen. It's like renting and having a landlord. These people know that the will be there and that's why they are planning to build more and to connect the two decks.
As amazing as their home is I am struck by how blessed they are to have each other. Thank you for sharing their story.

. . 'this was (is) my best friend' when discussing how she took care of him in the hospital. I cried . .
Lovely shes a good wife
It made me cry, too! What a story! Such an awesome space. Such a miracle. They are such hard workers. Not everyone could do it. I love it. ❤️ I wish my husband could have survived his brain bleed. But I’m so thankful God gave us 45 years together as a team, with many adventures to enjoy. Our last year together turned out to be a grand finale, though we had no idea it would be that. Life is fragile, and it makes a huge difference to have joy in the journey. This couple are such dears. 💕
I know I felt tears down my face lol to

This episode should be entitled: "Things that matter"
Yes that would be the correct title .. absolute truth
@Taps fan Or "How to speak without breathing"...
@@garysouza2277 I noticed that ,She is very good ,But I like her , When she said this is my best friend ,that shows that their love is very strong
The real story lies within Dave and Jaime. Their home is gorgeous, but pales alongside them having to deal with Dave's problems. Their story is truly inspirational...
Their love is very evident. I am so happy Dave (Which is one of the best names ever!), is strong and was able to pull through. What a loving wife. My wife would have said to go lay down and sleep it off. You're a blessed man, Dave!
Two life goals achieved:
Be the old couple, young, that always holds each others hands.
Own a beautiful home debt free.
True
Hi sir
Yes agree
Lol the wife talks enough for the both of them... she’s too cute!! God is so amazing...such a sweet couple
Don't most of us women do that?! But that is what makes it irritatingly cute.🤩🤭
I see her hubby lets her talk and is happy with it. You know, no interruption.
Jolly Jokress yeah! I swear they’re so cute together & very well balanced
I love it when my wife just keeps on talking all day while I just stand there and think about how I'm going to bang her tonight.
She explains on her blog that a lot of what he said was edited out because in certain parts he was slurring and stuttering his words due to his brain injury. Bryce and Rasa were kind to edit those parts out because there are mean people on social media that are not very kind and can make mean comments.
People like this are the sole reason to wake up with a smile on your face every morning! Bless you both and your awesome home.
It’s an amazing home! The main structure for this home is the true love! Yes the couple’s true love helped them to build this unique home, and I think they can be a great team to make anything they wish.
The best part about this tiny house is they can stand and walk in their bedroom .. I'm really impressed and that deck is cherry on the cake 😍
Ummmm I think u should move in ur bedroom it's not supposed to be a coffin !!!
I found the deck too big for the purpose.
When you live in a forest , you really don't need it. The forest is your deck in my opinion.
Vin london no
Yes
I was just binge-watching tiny houses, why am I crying now?
Were you chopping onions?
Exactly
😭😭😭 same! But I love a truly heart centered story full of love, passion, and persistence.
Guys,
YaH The Heavenly FATHER was Who they Crucified for our sins and “HERE IS THE PROOF”
From the Ancient Semitic Scroll:
"Yad He Vav He" is what Moses wrote, when Moses asked YaH His Name (Exodus 3)
Ancient Semitic Direct Translation
Yad - "Behold The Hand"
He - "Behold the Breath"
Vav - "Behold The NAIL"
They still finished it in 10 months ? Wow, This man is a HERO !
They are as beautiful as the home they built. I wish them good fortune and longevity.
She kept looking at him, she turned her head a lot
True love fellas
She keeps turning to him and looking for his approval in what she is saying
@@ladyJustis that is not why. when you come so close to losing your spouse, and some miracle brings them back, then you appreciate them all the more because you know life is fragile and can be gone in an instant
@@missyrabbit5250 so true so true
Yes, it is true. Their love has undergone trials and tribulations and if refined to what it is now. This is very different than the fake love being propagated through the media and popular songs today. The true God has blessed them for staying true to each other, they've reached new heights.
I Love ❤️ tine house
I love how enthusiastic this presenter is! He's always so positive
I mean, look at the job he has..
I've seen this twice, and I see so much love that was put in this design that they have created for their lives. I pray that they will continue to enjoy their happiness and health in their beautiful home. ❤
