Susanne Harget, thanks for doing this.
Thank you for writting it out for me. I normally listen thrice- 1st full attention, 2nd take notes, and 3rd review / recap. lolz
Thank you...
This just reminded me of a situation with my husband many years ago when we were still passionate about viewpoints.. haha.. we would get into petty disagreements followed by cooling off periods. One day i approached him just minutes after a disagreement inviting him to have a cup of coffee with me.. he was still agrevated to a point but joined me in the back yard for coffee. He said, i cant understand how you can now act as if nothing happened. (We just had a disagreement about something, nothing really happened) and my answer surprised even me - i told him, well honey, i am not upset with you, i'm upset with the thing we quarelled about. You are ok.. which was true.. and we both agreed on that. This little situation had a huge impact on our relationship later... in a good way..
I love that you separated the person from the argument and you are both free to verbalize how you feel, Love of music. I have a great feeling about this relationship.
@@LiveOnPurposeTV thank you :) yeah it's a good relationship.. i'm just grateful there's someone in my life that can put up with me well ;) Haha thanks again dr. Paul
This guy is so sweet!...I love how genuine he is...on point and easy to understand..thank you.
Amber, I'm honored - thanks for watching! DrPaul
Willingness to change is one of the toughest things there is - great point!
It takes some serious humility to do that, but that's also why it works!
Awesome quote: If we're not having fun, we're doing it wrong.
Yep, we can always change what we are doing, in fact, the only person we can control, Svetlana Z. Thanks for watching.
What a blessing to have come across your videos. Thank you for what you are doing. You have no idea of the effect and results that has taken place in marriage of 34 years. We feel like we just went through a marriage apocalypse, but because of the things that you have shared and and making the decision to do the work necessary, we are on the other side loving each other and living out the principles that you laid out. Thank you for your heart and time that you have given to help other people. May God bless you with Treasures in Heaven for what you have done for us!
You are so kind. Thank you!
Bless this mans heart! He has helped me so much and made me a better calmer parent and partner.
I love hearing success stories like yours, Cassidy Anderson! I am truly honored to be on your team. And I thank YOU for doing your best in raising the next generation.
Live On Purpose TV Thank You! Well raised Kids are so important to the future! I listen daily as part of my morning routine affirmations and strive to find the positive in every situation no matter how hard it is and Dr. Jenkins is helping me through darkness that made me feel like non existence was better, but no more. I’m realizing my quirks and what I need to work on and how to recognize other’s behaviors and understand why we all do what we do. The availability of RUclips has made it possible to get help in a very rural area with limited availability to someone to talk to. 💗
Love these videos. I've shared them with my loved ones who I've felt could totally benefit from these videos. Thanks for sharing these points.

Annette Macintosh, YES! Life gets better when we get clear about what we have control over and what we don't. Then we truly have options and you have chosen the one that will lead to a happier, more positive life.
Thank you for these videos. God bless
Thank you, julie Trader. So thankful for you and every viewer on this tchannel.
I am glad that you put these videos on a You Tube channel. I just recently found you. Thank you.
So glad we can connect, Jim Barnhart. Thanks for watching.
There is one thing I learned personally.
10. understanding when it doesn't work and let go to find a better matching partner.
A relationship will never be successful if you need to become someone else for it to work, if there is no common basis it will fail.
Good sex alone is no common basis, it is nice but not what makes a long lasting relationship if you share nothing else.
Relationships based on dependencies will certainly always fail, as they are destined to be be one-sided.
Also you can't buy love, it never works.
Myrak Wulf, sometimes it is difficult to know when it is time to let go. People naturally want to try everything they can to keep it together. Part of the process is doing everything you can think of and then realizing it might not be enough.
@@LiveOnPurposeTV this is absolutely understandable, yet humans only have a limited amount of time on this plane of existence.
Considering this it would be kinda terrible to spend two or even more years in an unhappy relationship.
Also there is the uncertainty of the future, that's why I am the opinion that people should focus on being happy now instead of hoping that time will fix things for them.
Some things can be fixed by time, but a lot with adapting the mindset.
Sleep is also important to process things that happened.
Of course not everyone will agree to this, but for me is human life finite and thus every day matters.
Also I like your videos, especially the one with overcoming anger helped me a lot to understand myself better.
I have learned a lot from you and you explain things in simplest and most practical way, thank you. You inspire me. I have a question: in a relationship, is it possible for only one person to go on applying these principles and get the desired results? When the other is defensive to the point where the first is scared even to make a suggestion? Any attempts at communication result in more pain.
Try to just do nice, thoughtful things for a few days, Faiza Khan. Don't expect any thank you's or comments, just do them because it makes you happy to do something for the other person. You know the old adage, "Actions speak louder than words."
This is great, thank you so much!!
You're very welcome!
Really such a great video that I needed.
Kaylin Smith, glad it arrived on time for you.

Thank you for your beautiful work 💖
You are welcome, noma naeem. It's an honor to be on your team.
Thank you Dr. Paul for these wonderful insights. People usually get confused between love and respect. I heard from Daniel Khavasov's youtube share that love is feeling of oneness and respect is appreciation of the separateness / differences. What according to you is the key difference(s) between love and respect? Thank you
Love to me is a little deeper and develops through shared experiences and is more of a relationship. Respect is general and given to everyone unless there is a reason not to.
@@LiveOnPurposeTV Thank you
👍😊👌😄📝 I take notes. Thanks
Review those notes frequently Sonia - and, oh yeah, you can come back to watch again any time you want! DrPaul
so do i !!
It's fantastic!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much ❤️
You're welcome 😊
GOD BLESSYOU
I appreciate your comments, Isa Broughton.
I really appreciate the new values I can try to practice, but I also really thought he was going to show us how to do the trick...
Haha, Thanks, I will consider it.
Any chance you could talk about respect more? I have male figures that confuse me on the idea of it, like I owe them something shortly after they made me upset. That I'm disrespectful because I'm hurt/shutdown/stop talking after they gave me a small trinket of appreciation a couple hours ago.
Sounds like the definition of respect is being confused a bit, StormyHotWolf88. I will add the topic to the list.
Great comparison!, 😺
Wendi Watson, thanks!
😂 you’re awesomely genius
Abe Bauer, honored to be on your team.
Please please please redo this video but for the first 1 minute film it upside down (would need an upside down room set of course) with you hanging from something off screen and when you drop the ring it goes up. It would completely spoil your point actually, but it would be pretty funny :-)
For a second I thought you might have done that and I was almost surprised when it went *down*. For example, Fred Astaire's classic upside down room dance: ruclips.net/video/ac6o8PXthzQ/видео.html
Wow, that would be something to see. Thanks.
Dev Lunsford I thought that was going to happen too 🤣🤣
@@MsPants1632 yep🤣
How can we love a person that stops us from doing things we love
Bobby Cute, it is about choice. Choose to love or choose to do something different.

Thank you.
Guys, if you don't cohabitate, commingle financially, dispose of wrapper, don't waste money on strong/independent, these and many more adventures will be of minimal concern.
got it.

Great content. Wish you hadn't characterized same sex couples as uninteresting, but i appreciate that you don't push this Mormon doctrine regularly
sourceclosetothematter, didn't mean it to come off as that way, will have to take another look.
👍
Thanks, nihal!
