    Is it really that easy to break the sinktop with a mallet? What do you suggest if sinktop is hard marble or granite?

    Why turn off the water to the whole house when you have shut offs right there?

      because the shutoffs didn’t work, I actually had to replace the stems

      @@HomeRepairTutor same thing happened to me when I redid my bath. Old house was built in 67. Although it looks cleaner when you hide the soldered joints behind the drywall, it makes it a pain to replace those prone to drip/ leak shutoffs.

      Demo tip was better than most I've seen on here. Worked as a plumber and demo guy myself.
