When I was little, and I used to watch gymnastics, I remember he was a commentator, and the 70s were before my time, so sometimes he would be explaining a skill, and then he would demonstrate it and actually do it, and I would be like, ' how the HELL is that sport commentator doing that!?!" because I didn't know he was a real famous gymnast in his time LOL!
The uneven bars started from the parallel bars. They just raised one. Check out women’s Olympic gymnastics. It’s really interesting. Floor didn’t have springs in competitions until the late 70’s
It shocked me to see him drink from a can of regular coke..I wouldn't expect an olympic gymnastic would drink sugary soft drink. I guess they were/are allowed to have caffeine.
That shocked me too!! At least the men’s gymnastics team was allowed to. The women’s gymnastics team couldn’t even eat fruit and the men’s team would have to sneak them food during the Olympics. The London & Rio women’s teams said that they were literally running on 0 fumes from no nourishment & being sexually abused by the team doctor by the time they got to the Olympics and were competing on injuries and broken bones.

The U.S. women's soccer team got crushed by a male high school team.

HE WENT TO MY HIGH SCHOOL!
I like looking at older gymnastics it tells you where the sport came from.

Water-carb-caffeine (a moderate amount) is a perfect combo for competition, but not during training (fast carbs especially).
Bart Taylor of Mongoose Racing!
His last name is Taylor...
Am I the 44 thousandth person to make that comment?
Rad
Perfect 10.00 ! No coment!
way better at gymnastics than BMX
Duke Best certainly thinks so.
confused by the commentator.... Bart competed for Mexico.... what???
The Panamerican Games is a continental event held every four years in different cities in America. The 1975 games were in Mexico City.
5’5 huh
Are men better than women in gymnastics all around?
I don't think so.
@@legamature 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Niles West High School
In surprised the roads there are paved.
You say Bart Conner, I say Bart Taylor. Sorry, USA Gymnastics. 😁
He looks quite long limbed for a top gymnast. Excellent technician though.
He accomplished the impossible and got blonder as he got older. How did it happen - by hanging out at the beach, or hanging out in some bleach? lol
No fat on his body.
Dismount lacked power
Those other gymnastics dudes are nothing compared to Bart Taylor, I mean Conner.
That's one Rad dude.
