  • Jura Brew Group maintenance video highlights the importance of cleaning and sanitizing the Jura Brew Group for all models. Unlike Saeco and Gaggia espresso machines, Jura brew groups are not easily accessible and requires more than ordinary effort to take it out of the Jura espresso machine for cleaning and maintenance.
This video shows the build up of dried coffee grounds spilled over from the brew group while brewing and potential of accumulating fungus around the brew group drainage valve, as shown in the video, inside the Jura espresso machine.
The cleaning or descaling tablet recommended by Jura does not clean or flush the drainage valve, located at the bottom of the brew group, hence the espresso extracted lacks aroma, is less flavorful and potentially hazardous.
We highly recommend cleaning and sanitizing the Jura Capresso Brew Groups every three to six months to extract the best espresso from Jura Capresso espresso machines.
