Thank you for posting this review. i have been looking at the reviews for the streamlight vs thrunite for a EDC/EMT penlight. lots of people say the thrunite is softer in its lower setting for checking pupils but i have a streamlight on my bunker jacket and its a great light so i wanted to stick with the same company. you answered my question of if this light was too bright.
Microstream is unbeatable. Small, cheap, very tough, ergonomic, reliable in any weather, and still in production by Streamlight with periodic emitter performance upgrades. I’ve taken mine around the globe and it never leaves my side.
I've had my Microstream for a few years now! Didn't realize how much I needed it til I got one and carried it. Use it every day! Great little light! Highly recommend it too!
I love my microstream. I recommend it to anyone looking for a good pocket EDC light. It's a great starting point, but it only started my EDC light love. Now I can't stop looking for new ones. I've found I prefer the CR123 size lights at this point. but the Microstream does get carried every now and then :) Thanks!
There are 4 gen of Microstream : 20, 28 - the best throw -, 35 and 45 lumens. Your STYLUS PRO must be 2nd gen - 48 lumens not 40 lumens -. I am holding on my 28-lumens Microstream which has great throw, good tint - had a very purplish 1st gen 20-lumens - and ... great easy to press clickie; even if it has a one way clip.
Thanks for the video. I was sold right after you said American made. Take care
He's wrong they're not American made (do your own research)
True, I have one and they’re made in China, it doesn’t make it a bad light tho. Maybe earlier models were made in the US

Just bought 2 microstreams. Thinking about trying the 10440 battery swap. Any thoughts?
