Good move! Yeah it’s a real game-changer. The moonlight on the i3T I still found a little too bright if you use it in the middle of the night which I sometimes do if my daughter has a nightmare or something. For versatility, nothing comes close that’s so easily pocketable, and having that powerful high-beam option is an added bonus. Thanks for watching!
@@joshuasmith6346 its been very great. Usb c charging and easy to just swap out for a AA battery, mint. 3 different light outputs based upon how you press it, mint. Loving this flashlight.
@@therealchrisbrown24 I have the green acebeam pokelit. For $20 it's amazing. I'm gonna get it in orange soon. I have the the olight i5r in titanium, which is an amazing light as well. I use the acebeam in the lowest setting to read my Bible at night. I love how it has the memory on it
@@joshuasmith6346 the lowest setting is the best! So far that's the mode I use it in most. I have it in green as well. Maybe eventually ill st a rt some orange fall color edc items and get this light. Olight has been in my pockets too!
These are really good lights. I have a couple. One is copper. The pocket clips have the best retention. Stays put in your pocket. And the button is stiff enough to never come on in your pocket accidentally.
I am almost sold on this light. My streamlight gave up its ghost so I’m trying to find what I want to replace it with. Honestly the memory function is what’s holding me off of this light. I don’t really like memory function, I like my light to come on the same mode every time for muscle memory. I don’t like to have to remember what I turned the light off on or have to cycle back through to have it start at the same place every time. When I’m at work, my hands are usually busy and I just want to use it and turn it off and know where it’s starting if I have to use it again. That’s just personal preference though.
@@KernowEDC I actually just got a Thrunite saber 659 off of Amazon for $11. I figured for $11 I couldn’t go wrong even if it ended up in the up in the kitchen drawer. I like it a lot. They nailed both the high and low mode and it has nice candela for a light that size. The ability to use a AA in a pinch instead of the rechargeable battery that came with it is kind of icing on the cake. The switch could be a little better but for $11 I’ll take it. It’s been in my pocket since it was delivered.
Thrunite Archer Pro is about the same size and same price, but can do 1100 lumens in turbo and has a strobe function. It's a way better light and value.
Does it have the memory function? That’s the selling point for me. I’d happily not have strobe over the convenience of a memory function as I’d use that a lot more. That said, I live in a pretty safe area and know a few martial arts for self-defence. I live in a very safe part of the UK. Zero guns and fairly strict knife laws. If I travel to London or Manchester however, I do EDC a strobe.
I have the Archer Pro and the beam is very green at low output levels which I am not a fan of. I like the new Saber from Thrunite. The Polelit is excellent though and probably my preferred option between the two. I think the main problem with the Archer Pro from an EDC point of view is the non replaceable battery.
I got one on sale at Amazon for $15 it took over for my micro stream rechargeable as soon as I got it. Absolutely loved it for 2 weeks and then it quit working. Well it will work intermittently. I am pretty sure it’s the switch. Even though the switch is clicking sometimes it won’t turn on, then occasionally when it does turn on it don’t want to turn off. I should have sent it back but didn’t. It was my first thrunite and it just kind of turned me off to them.
Just picked up one of these a couple days ago. I am downsizing from a stream light Protac to this as my edc because of the moonlight mode

Just bought the acebeam! Been kept in my cart waiting to purchase it.
How you like it so far?

Nice replacement. Those acebeams are great. I have a few now and updated my kits with them!

I really like the Pokelit. I just bought the titanium one which has a high CRI Nichia 519A emitter. Expensive but beautiful.
I’ll check that out! Thanks
