How to Crochet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Disney Inspired beanies

- In this video you will learn how to crochet these adorable Mickey Mouse and Minnie mouse Disney inspired beanies. Using basic stitches and medium worsted weight yarn from RedHeart Supersaver you will be able to crochet these set in no time at all. You choose your size. Below are some hook/size suggestions. Please remember everyone crochets differently these are just suggestions. Please visit my blog and google+ page. Let's get the party started!
Infant- Size G Hook, Babies Size H hook, Toddler Size I hook. To crochet a beanie for an older child use a size J hook and a medium weight worsted yarn. For adults you can use a size K hook and a heavier weight of yarn (maybe even a chunky weight. The pattern is the same for all sizes. Only the size of hook and weight of yarn changes. This makes this the perfect beanie pattern for all sizes. From Baby - adult size. Follow the same pattern.

Ms. Yolanda, I think that you're a fabulous teacher and I love the mini mouse beanie. I was going through your tutorials and was searching for an infant ruffled skirt. I didn't have any luck and was wondering if you could one day teach how to make a mini mouse ruffled skirt with a diaper cover attached. That would be awesome. These are SO adorable but I think I'll attach the bow with a small snap so that I can remove it before tossing the hat into the wash, and I can soak the bow by hand, rinse and dry when necessary. About the buttons, I LOVE using white buttons to look like poka dots but I'm not sure about putting any buttons on a hat for a toddler or one younger in case they get it off and it gets into their mouths, but oh, those poka dots just make the hat! Too cute!

Great pattern. I guess I crochet tighter than you, with an I hook it came out for about a 4 month old. So with a J hook it came out just right (with a little room to spare) for my 2yr old. But the ears came out too big with the J hook so I'm going to try the I hook for them...Thank you for all your hard work!! love your tutorials!!

I love it, I'm a newbie in crocheting....the only suggestion for us newbies maybe you can go through each different stitch a little slower (almost like slow motion lol ) I'm pretty good a following directions but I still don't know the names to the stitches and if you go to fast I get lost. ty

im going to try to make this later today. I would think you can put some poly fill or some kind of filling inside the ears before you sew them together to make it stand up better. just an idea though cause I haven't tried it yet. hope that helps.
