Probably Five years ago or more. I know the last time I checked their website they still were selling the “Four dogs”. It my have been more then that since I purchased it. All their stoves are top notch!!
Ya I just looked on their site and no steel stoves. They my be just out of them at the moment. Write them an email, super nice dudes. I dealt with their pops when I bought my Five dog and was worried I wouldn’t have it in time for our camping trip. He assured me I would have it in time and I did. Super great stoves made in USA and will last a life time if you take care of them. Write them an email brother 🇺🇸❤️
@@thepolishreefer4135 I have a CO cylinder stove, spruce model, it can put out the heat but it'd be nice to get out of bed less frequently, and if I am correct I think yours has a recirculation plate in the top? Thanks for replying 👍
@@brianh1161 Ya there’s a plate on the underside of the top of the stove that’s a heat deflector or a baffle and that’s what it is. Any good stoves will use that “baffle” underneath the top of the stove. Hope that makes sense. It diffuses the heat and spreads it out as opposed to just going straight out the pipe.
I’ve never ran propane in the tent as far as heat goes. That’s where you get condensation though. My experience from running the wood stove, never had any condensation ever.
I can't wait to be able to go out for a week again. That was so much fun. I'm a bit jealous!
I’ll be going for a few days at the end of the month. Some New Year’s Eve camping.
@@thepolishreefer4135 HAHA, just rub it in why don't you? That place looks sooo good! I think I'll plan something. You've motivated me to JUST DO IT!
Right on!!!
The woods is my temple. That’s where I find peace and light.
Let’s go!!
Beautiful beautiful country!
Thank you!!! Always big fun for sure!
I’m gonna do some New Years Eve camping this year. Hopefully will have some good snow. Makes it more peaceful
I like the camo on the vestibule.
Thanks! Ya it kinda just makes it more homey! Ha!👍🏼🇺🇸
beatiful nature brother
Roger that!!
Thank you, planning another trip in a few weeks!
Where you camping 🏕 at ? Kinda looks like Wisconsin...
Michigan
Where did you get the stove!?
I purchased it new from the Fourdog stove company.
How long ago did you buy the Five Dog? It does not appear they have any steel stoves available these days.

@@thepolishreefer4135 I've considered welding a plate in there...takes away a bit of loadable volume, but perhaps the tradeoff is worth it.
What about condensation in the Alaknak when you are heating the tent? Thanks.
There is none with the wood burning stove.
