ALLURE XTREME ITS MY #1 CHANEL.... IT SMELL CLASSY😉
My favorite is Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme but to be honest I thought that Bleu de Chanel would win. People tend to gravitate to what most smells familiar. So this was a pleasant surprise. Great video and battle.

if you want a little younger smelling platinum egoiste check replica at the barbers...very similar just a little bit more modern. but platinum is a masterpiece and a must have for a man.

PE is a timeless scent. and all the girls at work go mad when i wear it. im 39. and girls at work mostly 20 plus they always give me compliments when i wear it. last time someone though i used a strong shampoo but also said it smells good.

The fact that Platinum Egoiste came out 30 years ago and some younger people have a positive opinion of it is a testament to it's quality, timelessness, and the fact that it just smells really effing good. One of my "Mount Rushmore" fragrances.
Platinum Egoiste is a masterpiece, easily beats newer fresh out of the shower scents, it's shine on skin and mostly on shirt, ladies love that masculine, maybe that Chanel is not typical clubbing scent, but for me is even better than sweet yummy proposes, one woman told me, that aromas like Platinum reminds many girls of clean handsome good manners man! Masterpiece!
I fell in love with Antaeus earlier this year. It's avant-garde in this day and age, just a heavy hitter overall. Myrrh, jasmine and leather is a winning combo imo
heavy hitter? all my friends said it smells nice but very mild, I sprayed three times on my left arm and one time on my chest 1-2 hours before I met them. It's an unusual scent for todays times but not overpowering in the slightest. I have an almost empty old bottle of Antaeus after shave lotion that smells much stronger, more leathery balsamic.

Chanel Egoiste may be old school but it smells so good and I’ve got so many compliments wearing it.

I don't wear fragances for getting compliments. That's why I still use and love Antaeus, Kouros, Quorum, Bijan, Salvador Dali, etc.
I'll always keep Old School fragances in my collection.

Platinum Égoïste has been my signature scent since 2017 when I was 19 years old. It has given me so many good compliments of girls my age. I love it so much! Longevity on my skin is about 6 hours. Clean, fresh and manly

All mens Chanel fragrances are really good. I first wore Platinum Egoiste in the early 90s when it first came out and I still love it today. From my experience women love it
Platinum Egoist is my signature scent. I wear it every time I have a meeting (virtual or face to face 😂).
It does gives me an ego boost that subtlety commands respect and authority.
Grey Vetiver EDT does the same for me.
I get way more compliments with Platinum Egoiste than I do with Allure Homme Sport Extreme. PE is more unique, more refined and lasts longer.
Antaeus is hands down the most beautiful fragrance. Such spice and richness, it’s unlike anything else. Thanks for the video, was really interesting 😁

Whenever I smell Antaeus in the drydown there's something there that reminds me of licorice. A dark, spicy licorice. It smells sooo good
People frown at Antaeus but keep coming in for more.
I kind of love it, but it sort of smells like I imagine a scared horse trying to break out of a buring stable would smell. Still, a great scent.

We used to begin to wear Chanel Egoiste Platinum in the age of 18 or 19. This was very good going to Clubs with loud wild music and sweaty tension in the air. 30 yesrs later I just got me a new bottle the other day :)
I owned about 300 fragrances and one of my most complimented fragrances all time is Chanel eau Extreme. It has a great silage too.
I have all 4. I prefer Platinum Egoiste by day and the O.G. Egoiste in evening! I have received many compliments with Platinum Egoiste such as yesterday at work, “you always smell so good!” Thank you Jacque Polge for these beautiful fragrances.
Nice, for me Platinum Egoiste gets me decently good atention when I have a full suit and tie on in the city and yes it does last a lot longer than Bleu de Chanel
Platinum Egoiste is still my favorite smelling fragrance. Its the fragrance that brought me to the fragrance world.
Chanel allure homme sport EDT was my signature scent for over 8 years. But Chanel platinum egoist is a better, more mature scent. It suits me as a father of 3.

I personally enjoy the combination of the freshness of the citrus and mint and the sweetness of the tonka bean and vanilla of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and in my experience it smells better in the air and leaves a beautiful scent trail. It's gotten me compliments from women. Keep up the great content!

Please do a complete review of Platinum Égoïste. Got it two weeks ago after I smelled it randomly in a store. It’s just the absolute best fragrance of my humble collection, and my signature smell for the office.
I am 40 years old. I wore Platinum for about a year, and I never got a single compliment. I have now worn Antaeus for the last half year, and i get compliments daily! I've been wearing fragrances my whole life, and Antaeus is by far my most complimented fragrance!
I tested Antaeus yesterday but was a bit disappointed, I thought it would smell very strong but it's really mild, my friends also said it smells nice but a bit too mild. I sprayed three times on my left arm and one time on my chest. I have an almost empty old bottle of Antaeus after shave lotion from the 80's or 90's and it smells stronger, not as subtle on the leathery accent.
They went too far in calming Antaeus down. I had a bottle around 1999-2000 that was powerful. People would frown but keep coming in for more.
I am 50 i wore Antaeus for years not even 1 compliment. Now i use Platinum i get compliments every day even from dogs and cats.

Allure extreme is soooo good in the dry down. It becomes this rich spicy orange scent. I think it’s an any season scent.

Got Platinum Egoiste mostly because it was released in my birth year :D Think it has a lot in common with Fierce and especially women mid 30s and bit older really like it :D at least it was my experience. And to be honest never smelled it in public so its more unqiue nowdays.
while I'm old enough to have remembered Platinum Egoiste from the 90s, I never smelled it until a few months ago at a Duty Free Shop in an airport and loved it, tried it a few more times since while passing through airports and just bought a bottle last week for a very good price. Such a nice scent for men over 35 or 40

@@James7995 don't see many other fragrances from that era coming back into style, although I do wish Ralph Lauren Polo Sport for ladies was still in production. I bought a full 50ml bottle of it locally in the last year for very cheap and that juice was amazing, it brought back many good memories of that decade

Interesting to see how scents without context are sometimes viewed. However, the wearer provides the context and I think that changes a lot.
BDC EDP and Parfum were my favorite but I have been reaching for Allure homme Eau Extreme lately. It smells fresh and dries down into a sweet, creamy and fresh combination. I own the original Allure homme EDT but eau extreme is so much better. I like it the same as Blue de Chanel now. I agree and I get great longevity barely bought September 2022. Reformulation rumours I doubt it.

Interesting. The targeted Anteus buyers according to Chanel who bought Anteus were19-28 year olds. They made this timeless fragrance a success. Their dads and mature men wore fresh citrus/lavender smelling colognes.

Montale Battle , Bue Amber, Intnense Cafe, Honey Amber and Oud Tobacco. Would be interesting given the difference in smells. I’m looking to add a Montale (probably Blue Amber I like projection!) But am still deciding. So this would help.
It smells different when sprayed on fabric or skin compared to sprayed on paper. Plus comparing them in a crowded place, outdoors under the sun when people are tired, is different from when we hug someone wearing the perfume in a fine dining
Indeed I was on a date with a girl half my age and she asked me what was the gorgeous scent I had on. Antaeus. It works really well with my pheromones and younger women get excited by it as aposed to the extreme allure sweet pudding scents they get on every male. She came back for a lot more.

Es una fragancia que ne da vibras como de sangre y fatalidad y a la vez sobrecogimiento. Me da imágenes tenues, opacas, oscuras. Es una fragancia muy extraña. Amo su fase intermedia. Me da una sensación como de escenas muy antiguas. Catedrales antiquísimas... Salones amplios y lujosos de épocas pasadas. En fin...

AHSEE I had a girl following me. We were sitting in the bus, I guess she got a whiff of me, then turned around and sat down again, instead of getting out. She left the bus at my stop. She was going behind me for a bit, then had the courage to speek to me. "Hey! Excuse me! I really like how you smell!". I got excited. But then: "I would like to buy that for my boyfriend."
I have AHSEE and egoiste but i don't like egoiste so it's still 80% full since buying it 5 years ago 😂 it's too piercing, at least for my nose. But i like AHSEE, and based on my experience, AHSEE is liked by women and I think it's versatile too for all seasons. So go get it, guys!

If I had to pick the tiebreaker I would pick
Egoiste Platinum because it's a memorable, distinctive scent. The Bleu De Chanel EDP is too
"safe" smelling. I like Egoiste Platinum. You should put Pour Monsieur as a battle fragrance with Eau Savage EDT, Quorum and YSL Koiros.
Completely agree on your analysis of Bleu de Chanel. I smelled it for the first time this past weekend, I thought it was quite pleasant, but just doesn't have that special flair that really captures my attention. Definitely one for the office.

Tobacco oud, I would like you to review it in the streets. I didn't like it at first, but now I LOOOOOVE IT ! Sometimes I mix it with Oud Wood and that works well too.
i have 2 & 4 (EDP version tho)... 2 is like a dumb grab frag for me, casual wears... wife like it tho... wife bought me #4 when we first started dating back in 2016-17 (i think 2016 christmas)... I def prefer BDC EDP.... can dress it up, dress it down, so much more versatile imo. The other one i do enjoy for spring/summer mostly... but you could easily wear it any time... I always have it in my gym bag and will grab it in the summer when I cant decide what to wear

Platinum Egoiste is my favorite work fragrance other than Green Irish tweed for Real Estate. I’ve had women tell me it’s sexy. It’s Not to be trying to be sexy, which is nice for work.

Well Curly, nice hair color 💪🏻 blondie this time. Nice to see a battle with egoïste and Antaeus. I’m thinking to buy egoist and doubting Antaeus just on reputation. People are saying that the base of egoist is the precursor of BDC. Already own BDC edt and parfum. They are just great. Instead of AHSEE I have versace pour homme.
