Replacing Slice Engineering Mosquito Hotend | Pulse XE

Replacing a ‪@SliceEngineering‬ Mosquito Hotend on a ‪@MatterHackers‬ Pulse XE E-444M is pretty simple due to the thoughtful engineering of the MatterHackers SNAP system. In this video, I demonstrate how to swap out a broken Mosquito hotend in under 10 minutes.

Great video!
We'd recommend using Boron Nitride Thermal Paste on both the heater cartridge and temperature sensor. This seals the air gap between the cartridges and the block, potting them in place and greatly improving thermal performance and temperature sensor accuracy.
Also, to avoid over-tightening of the nozzle in the future, we'd recommend using a Nozzle Torque Wrench; we sell one that is pre-torqued to 1.5 Nm and designed specifically for the Mosquito Hotend!

Thanks for confirming on the paste! I already bought the tube, so even though it seems to be working it’s trivial go back and put some on.
As far as the torque wrench goes…if only I had a time machine 😅

Uhh ohh.. did I see a left over screw at the end of the video? 🙃Probably spares or old screws that were replaced with the kit but everyone doing as task like this fears having that one part left over. Figured I'd put that bee in your bonnet 🤪

Ahahahaha, that screw went on the other side, and I put it back. Nothing would’ve happened had it not been there though
