It's crazy how on point your videos are with my workflow. I literally started using the Ninja to record the GH5 in 10 bit 4K. I went on Reddit to ask about the amount of noise in the image. I come on RUclips and you have made a video One day ago. Really unbelievable how helpful and informative you are Thank you so much

I have been visiting the Cannon forum and asking a lot of questions.. One of the videographers there told me that they shoot at base ISO 3200 even when going below 800 ISO. It would be really interesting to see a comparison and analysis on the difference between these two modes.

It's on my topics I want to cover list, but I have to figure out how to test it. Either I need to drop some cash on a exposure step wedge, or figure out how to do something similar without it.

Very informative! Thank you for another great video! I did have one question and I think I already know the answer but thought I’d ask just in case. Noise Reduction wouldn’t affect 12 bit RAW correct regardless of any changes to the CP?

As far as I can tell, that's correct. The raw data is unchanged regardless of the noise reduction settings.
In fact, it doesn't seem to be used even by Canon's Cinema RAW converter to apply any form of noise reduction there either.
