388 Stroker LT1, FLT Level 5 4L60E, Yank PT4000 Stall, 10 bolt rear end with Moser Axels, Eaton TrueTrac Diff, and Richmond 4.10 gears, Stock suspension.
Car is set up for Nitrous but these passes are all motor.
All runs are at Great Lakes Dragaway, Union Grove, WI. October 2014
11’s is good people don't know really how much work it takes to run 10's. Don’t worry about the comments keep up the good work.

People always down talk your car if it lt1 powered but if you got ls1 there like that’s bad ass it’s better than lt1 but in my opinion. The lt1 is a better engine it stays way cooler than ls1 plus lt1 is iron block ls1 is aluminum even they stock form ls1 is better for boost but that’s why you build the lt1 for boost and spank that ls powered car only bad of the lt1 is the opnispark besides that it’s a great engine

get a vortec 5.7l its heads are basically the same but without all the reverse flow garbage and it runs a physical distributor so no optispark problems. you can do a coil near plug conversion these days too and get rid of the dizzy or optispark alltogether too.

I can tell you best as I can, Car is for sale and 10s capable with a better rear, it hit 10s once on a 28 inch slick but grenaded the rear the next run. its nitrous ready as well just never used. As it ran that day it was a 388 stroker lt1 with cc306 cam, ls7 lifters, Harland Sharp roller rockers, springs and rods were something special I cant remember lol, Cola Crank, high capacity oil pump, Compstar rods, and pistons, afr 210 heads, SLP in fender cold air intake, edlebrock lt4 intake manifold and larger throttle body that are port matched and polished all the way to the heads. full length headers with a SLP LMII exhaust, tuned by a specialty tech from West Bend Dyno that deals with mostly LT1s. Full MSD ignition from opti to wires to coil. FLT Built level 5 Transmission with a Yank 4200 torque converter. the rear is a 7.5 inch with moser axels, richmond ring and pinion, detroit locker diff, and a diff support cover, that setup lasts a year or 2 before needing to be replaced, I was going to put a new rear in it but life took me in a new direction and I am selling it instead. I hate all the detailed paperwork and info for EVERYTHING done to the car and all invoices including engine build sheet in a folder in a safe for anyone serious.

11s is hauling but!! If you ride with someone that can run mid 13s and they punch it with an automatic you better have your head against the seat rest because your going to feel like you got wiplash. 😄😄

It honestly has, as I put in the video I withheld the fastest time it ran that night intentionally. Speaking honestly the best run at the time it had was 10.94@121. This was on a 26" tire with stock suspension, since then its had drag suspension and a 28" inch tire put on it. keeping in mind its a nitrous car that I haven't bothered to run the nitrous on yet.

A_aron 37 it sounds like it might be a bit of a stretch but you never know, traction can be a deal breaker though, once I switched to skinnies up front and a 28" tire im back and adjustable shocks I dropped 5 tenths without changing anything else. I'm also full interior though. Good luck to ya on making your goals and let us know what it does.
I sure as hell hope my 383 stroker lt4 with longtubes & turn downs can in my 97 ws6 or I'll throw his at it till it does.

i seen alot of forums with people saying their firebirds are running 11's with just bolt on?? you should smash 11's and i bet you have
RS1 stock m6 ls1s are capable of 12.9s with a great driver, my 99 ws6 just has a full exhaust, slp lid, 4.10s and a tune, stock ls1 intake and TB for now and it already traps almost 114 with just a mail order tune, if I had a better rear and slicks the mph is there for an 11, it’s full weight and stock suspension lol
Was it the LT1 a 4.3 L? I bet a fully modernized LT1 P 99 4.3 L could probably be an 8 second car
The 90s LT1 was the 5.7L 350.
A year later, I realized I’m wrong. There is a 4.3L lt1, I apologize lol. I’d like to see one run 8s. Not saying it’s not possible, I’d just really like to see it. 100% doubt this has a 4.3, unless they were dumb enough to swap one into it

Get a regular SBC HR cam setup for the LT1 on a 110 LSA. You can get elliottsportwork to port them if you’re not comfortable porting them yourself. It’s easy to make over 400 hp with little money. See my channel I got the setup explained.

10 seconds no bottle actually, was keeping the top time a secret as I wasn't yet satisfied with the tire and suspension setup and was still dabbling in some non track racing at the time.

how is the 10 bolt holding up with the Moser Axels?
So far so good but I've been doing light launches around 2800 then rolling into it. A hard launch the 26"s still spun. Well find out this year as I purchased a set of 28"s

Still good, no compression loss, no major issues, a few hiccups with the ignition once and a while, but that's an opti-spark for ya.
What size Back tire?
only ran 26x10.5 in the videos, I did get a chance to run it with 28s once and had better times, however it kicked my differentials a**. I did not record it regretfully.
All that work and only running 11’s.
