I love how in the manga he's mentioned but we never see him, in the anime he's never brought up but we can see him in the background, meaning that if you read the manga and then watched the anime, you can both read his description and see how he actually looks like, this amount of details for an extra that literally only shows up once in a 150+ chapter manga XD

Jolyne would have been around 6 or 7 during the events of part 4 and while I'm pretty sure that Araki didn't plan on having Jotaro be married and have a kid when he was working on part 4 I also think it's hilariously on brand for Jotaro to just never bring up his wife or Jolyne to the Morioh gang.
I feel like Araki always had the idea of making Jotaro have a kid. It had to happen sooner or later in order to continue the Joestar bloodline. It was just that it would take forever for his kid to be old enough to be a JoJo with their own story (nearly 20 years after part 3 at least), so he had to come up with Joseph cheating and Dio letting one of his kidnapped women go to continue things.
The next 12 episodes are probably the weakest part of Stone Ocean and then the last 12 will be the best or the worst depending on who you ask. I hope you like it!
I'm one of those people who haven't speedread and I'm proud to be part of the small fraction of the community that loves stone ocean, and I'll fight to the death to prove that SO's final is perfect (better than the GW ending, but that's really just my opinion honestly, it seems like a bunch of people like it)

I'm glad Abi mentioned the Part 4 baby. Her name is Shizuka Joestar, since she was legally adopted by Joseph and Suzi Q, and her getting her own part is my favorite what-if scenario in the series. If only Araki had remembered she existed this part.
