1978 I was 6 months into my second stint in Korea when I was ordered to go on R & R (leave), I rocked out on Bob Seger the whole long ass flight back to state side. I didn't sleep for days, I was hyped up not realizing how much I had missed being on mainland US of A. Wherever I went with my boom box playing Bob Seger, Leonard Skynyrd, CC Waters, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan and a few other country rock, I was asked to crank it and seemed like everyone sang along with anyone of the artist jammin on my boom box! Best R & R I had in years, knocked out 9 more months in Korea and next post was Panama (home base, hardly ever went into the city). Wherever I went, these artist and Bob Seger got me through it all, Boston concert was my first Bob Seger live! Still Rockin it!
Best rock and roll singer ever!!!! Down to earth, his music is his travel's through life... He has a heart of gold.... Met him UP- NORTH IN TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN... The nicest man ever..Michigan has some powerhouse singer's, what else, we are THE MOTOR CITY!!!!!!!🥀🥀🥀🥀..2022...
Saw Bob in concert 4 times over the last 30 years, last time he was in his 70's. He can still rock it out, Lost my wife to Alzheimers a few years ago and her and I had a great life rocking out to Bob and the band

Saw him in peoria IL. got obstructed tickets because that's the only aisle seats we could get. Ended up being 5th row to the left of stage by giant speakers. He got up on the speakers & sang half this song to our section. Partied with the band in the hotel bar & bought Alto a Moscow Mule after the show. RIP. Sadly, those days are over due to this politicized Covid foolishness.

Three generations this man and is band have been around, fifty years truly as he had many albums out before anybody except Michigan knew who he was.That right there was a rare performance of that song which we may never see again depending on how well his back surgery healed as he will be back on tour confirmed by early fall of 18. The song is classic Seger, seeing him do it live again after all these years was an epic moment. The man's music is timeless, transcending from one generation to the next.. Best live show I have ever been to ever, his catalogue is only a portion of what he has written. I can only dream what he has in the vault. So thrilled to be seeing him one last time in December...1996 was the last tour he did this song.
