LOVE THIS! That epic live concert from Cobo Hall waaay back in the day. That was the greatest live recording of any concert of all time. My all-time favorite song, by my all-time favorite artist. My kids have instructions to play this song at my funeral.
What a great show, the whole tour was great. I saw them on his first concert back in 10 years at Van Andel in Grand Rapids. I believe that was the last concert i ever attended. We Michiganders aged out together brother, but we still love our Rock and Roll and listen long past the age of knowing how to dance..lol.
I’ve seen Bob Seger 8 times in concert. The last time was in Detroit!! He’s an absolute Rock & Roll Legacy! I love you Bob Seger! Patty Caruso, Lake City, FL!
Detroit concerts, by Bob Serger, are the best!! I have seen him twice at Pine Knob! Awesome!! He still has it after all these years! Bob Serger 1st rate entertainment!
I saw Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band in 1978 in Los Angeles when I was stationed in Long Beach in the Navy - One of the was Turn The Page with that great Saxophone intro by the late ALTO REED These lines from Turn The Page remind me of a time in 1978 when I was stationed in Long Beach in the Navy and me and a couple guys were driving home to AZ in a 67 Cougar and the car broke down in Ontario, CA at night and it was cold and rainy and we had to wait until morning to buy a water pump so we walked into a restaurant to get out of the cold Well, you walk into a restaurant all strung-out from the road And you feel the eyes upon you as you're shaking off the cold You pretend it doesn't bother you, but you just want to explode
🥀Amazing Song I love it! I wonder if she knew exactly what it truly means to live on the road making big like did Bob Seger. My Dad was inducted into the Country music hall of fame and honor in Macon in 1987 it's a true story and a hard life. God Bless you Bob Seger 🥀☝️🥀
Followed Bob Seger since I was 16 yrs old starting in parking lots. He is beloved in the Metro area and deserves to be. He is our hometown boy............
Tracy Simmons I so agree with you but he was our hometown boy and ended up getting the respect he deserved in the end. He made it into the Rock and Roll hall of fame before a lot of others. He is true to his roots and is still rocking✌️
From Silverbell, to Mt. Holly, to the Clawson Hideout,to The crows Nest to The Mump to the Birmingham Teen Center to Malls, parking lots and schools,.....I’ve been following him since I was 15 yrs old. Pine Knob, best outdoor venue ever
I 2nd that. summer time blues at Pine Knob. Seen Bob there and for the first time of many when he sold out 6 shows in 9-3-1986. then he came back in February of 1987 when he sold out 7 shows at the Joe Louis. He had the record of tickets sold at the Joe till Prince sold out 7 shows too. Prince had a smaller stage and sold more tickets. Bob shows in detroit are some of his best , when he comes home.......... Rip to Tom Petty. It' a bitch getting old
Although I grew up in Michigan, I have never been to Pine Knob. What is the seating in one of side sections like? I'll be traveling from Iowa and can't wait for the concert!

@officialbobseger39 :D No need to worry.🤗 T&M
I was there DTE my ass
Charlie Martin was the original drummer I believe. Was not him. Chris Cambell and Alto Reed were the only original members other than Bob!
Jay DeChellis Charlie was hit by a drunk driver been in a wheelchair for a while
is that the original drummer im guessing so cause he looks old AS DIRT HAHA THEY STILL SOUNDING GREAT THOUGH
He was a replacement drummer but damn he nailed it! And yet, yes he is 'old' which gives him even more points!
Don Brewer from Grand Funk
@@rummerlinelmo I know that Don has played with the band for several years now, but that isn't him. Greg Morrow filled in on this tour.

What is up with the bandana. The original look would look great of him. Why change what is so classic. Longer hair and free styling.
