I'm 53 and want to get something to cover some "scars"on my arms. It's a hereditary type of condition makes red spots where sun exposure damaged it. I hate my arms.
I’m 60 years old and over the past 3 months I did a full nature sleeve. The right artist and aftercare were the most important factors for me. I will say I had one tattoo in the military 40 years ago and the tattoo gun hurt more than the new tattoo pens……..not much pain or discomfort at all compared to the old tattoo guns except near my armpit and that felt like she was cutting out my soul !!! Stay away from armpit and really low on wrist ( only places that really hurt for me ) I would agree that simple and less complicated designs are best and definitely go for it………… great informative video btw !!
I have to smile when I read people saying they are in their late 50's or 60's and are having ink as if they are "older". I'm in my mid 70's looking to have one for the very first time. Now this is old lol
I got two tattoos when I was 18/19ish. I'm in my 40s now, just covered up one of them and started a new piece on my arm. I'm loving getting tattoos as an older girl. Naturally I'm taking better care of them because I'm more disciplined in my "old" age. I put in a better effort to find the right artist for me, because I'm older and wiser. And I think differently about what I want etched on my body forever. Already dreaming of the next one. And unless my body shows signs that its not up for it anymore, I'll keep going for all the tattoos I want until I'm done. I love carrying someone's art on me. It makes me feel beautiful.
I am 56 years old, I got my first tattoo at 54 and in a month I have my sixth one scheduled. They are addicting and I am having so much fun!!!!😄

I just turned 60 and my family (husband, daughter, son-in-law, and son) got a matching tattoo on our right foot-a beach wave ☺️

I saw a man yeaterday who looked 60+ years old with 2 portaits on his arms and they looked fantastic!
I’m 62. Been getting tattooed for 40 years now. Not done yet.
