    Just love Gary Numan. How unique this sound was when originally released...and it's aged well!

    I was 17 or so when it came out, and couldn’t stop listening it over and over, on a cassette deck. And it’s still there, 40+ years later, and it still has the same effect on me. Gary’s only 4 years older than I am, and he’s still on stage, performing! Amazing!

    I think people who saw him first time around should all be given free tickets to see him again!

    When i first saw him in 79/80 the floorboards vibrated it was a thunderous show and he actually blew the power out and we were in the dark for 15mins till they fixed it. Can never forget Paul Gardiner(RIP Paul) only 6ft from me, the way he stood and played was excellent, he had a real look to him. All songs were from Replicas and TPP. Seen him again for the TPP Tour, which was great to hear the whole album live, yet the 79/80 show i witnessed was a beauty, perhaps the bleak, cold, android sound live and those great songs suited those times following after the Punk era. We really staggered out of there and were stunned, but then again, we all took 3 tiny little dots that were so potent.

    I remember Gary early 80s. I wasn't a numanoid like some of my mates but I remember his image was like an" alien being "and he moved quite robotic if at all in that period.

    He looked 50 when I was a kid in the early 80’s ... how old could this musical genius be now ?

    Sounds ad good today and I wasn't even a GN fan but love Bowie. Can anyone else confirm that when Garry went on Top of The Pops Garry meet his hero and David had nothing to do with him af he was selling more records than him? Sorry if this is old news for GN fans but it is also known that he was there when Bowie arrived back in UK from Germany at Victoria Station

    Heard you first time in 79. I know there would be no nin, Manson, so on so on.....without you Mr. Numan. Maybe just me but when I see a parent (who was totally bad ass to begin with) copy his children's style.................
    No disrespect, just would be cool if you turned back in to an android.

      Dumbest comment I have heard in a long time. This entire tour is promoting his NEW album Intruder!!!

    • @Mod-rw9cw
      @Mod-rw9cw 2 года назад

      @@quintinjohnson3742 Well he needs to do some more promoting then. I’ve never heard any of his music since the late 70s.
