After reviewing the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro with a massive 13" display and Android KitKat as operating system it is now time to take a look at the 10 inch version of the tablet running Windows 8.1. The Yoga Tablet 2 with Windows features a 10" full hd display, an 8 megapixel camera and a huge battery with a capacity of 9600mAh. During my time with the tablet I was very impressed with the great battery life, amazing screen and surprisingly good bluetooth keyboard.

What do you guys think about the 8 inch version? I am thinking of buying it. I do not want to get the 10 inch because it will be tiring holding it in bed and stuff like that becuase I use it in bed everyday. I also bring it around with me, the tablet I currently have is the Shield Tablet, but I am currently selling it as of now to get this one. I cannot believe I haven't owned a Windows 8 tablet as of yet. It is so smooth! Can't wait to order it!

I'm a college student and I'd like to know if which computer is the best for me. I've few choices. The Microsoft Surface 3, Surface Pro 3 and the Lenovo Yoga 2.
I have to do some school works on it using excel, PowerPoint etc. Sometimes, Photoshop may be needed.
I only have limited budget. I want to know if the Microsoft Surface 3 or the Yoga 2 can handle my work. For the Surface Pro 3, I may choose the i5, 128gb version. Which of them is better for me? Thank you.
Is it possible to run typical 3D modeling software such as Rhino3D on this? I ask since you have mentioned that it can run Photoshop and other such software. Also, can one attach a mouse? Thanks!

yep, you get 60 fps, depending on map, it can drop to 20, also league of legends can run at 40 - 70 fps if you turn down the effects.
The problem is, you cannot charge while having a mouse connected

You can use a regular stylus but you won't have any pressure levels.

It has a micro hdmi-port and can also use dlna or miracast to output on a TV.

+Shreya Rawal He said this computer is running full Windows, so yes. You can run Notepad++ or any other windows application. You are only limited by the HD space. Notepad++ is not a very large application.

Is anybody experiencing a weak wifi signal? Unless I'm near my router, the wifi connection is horrible. I can't even be upstairs, directly above the router, without the Yoga losing a few bars. It's quite frustrating. The internet slows to a crawl, and similar to the reviewer, I had over 100 updates to install. You can imagine how that went with the bad wifi reception.
Updating the tablet should solve the problem

No that's only being released on the 8" inch version for now and can be expected in the coming weeks to be released to stores.

Hello i would like to know,if you still have the tablet,if you can check if a game works on it,from www.pirategalaxy.com(couse it only says it works on windows os)called Pirate Galaxy its a browser game but has a client too and i want to know if it works on this type of tablet all you need is to tell me if in Pirate Galaxy you can get to the Log In screen,i think in browser it needs java for windows if you could tell me if it installs java too you would do me a big favor,will you try do that for me?

The best anti-virus is common sense...seriously. Don't bother, many of the most popular anti-virus software suites are as bad/invasive as viruses themselves.

This is for me. Was bought a Samsung Tab 4 10" for xmas, but it has a couple of minor issues with screen flicker at low brightness and an annoying SD card error issue. It was bought from Tesco and they are now selling the Lenovo Yoga for same price. It seems to excel the Tab4 in every way, so hopefully I will get this one soon.

Great video Sebastian. For someone who wants a Windows machine at a very good price, the Yoga tablet 2 is hard not to recommend. Especially with the great display and good battery life. The only thing I can't get used to is its rounded thick edge but I see that some people enjoy it.

hi I got the 8 inch it comes with out a keyboard and there is no HDMI port so you can't connect it to any external TV,screen or projector ,the battery time is excellent ,managed to use it for 11 hours with WIFI on however charging the battery from zero to 100 takes around 5 hours 32 GB is enough for me after updating windows and office and installing few apps and programmes I still got 10 GB of empty space to use

This seems like it would be perfect for school use, like to write papers and what not with without having to lug around my massive 17in gaming laptop around. Not to mention, that battery life doe... Gotta see when I can get the cash to pick up this bad boy

How is the sound quality on this tablet?
A better review: This machine is a piece of crap. I returned mine after having it about 8 hours. The keyboard would not initialize. It's crap, the worst crap, and the customer service is worse. The only reason to buy one of these is to throw it out a window from a really tall building where it lands into shredder.
Save your cash this is a horrible machine
Actually I have Computer Science degree. There was a mechanical issue with the unit I had. The retailer could not get it to work either. They opened another one and it had the same problem.
The machine is just awful. The buttons and LEDs that initialize the keyboard are too small and too dim.
The keyboard and the CPU unit have to be charged separately which is extremely problematic if you are trying to use the machine in a airport where plugs are scare.
The keyboard also has a very mushy feel.
It would also help if there was a standard sized USB port for an external drive
You are better off with either a tab or a regular laptop. This was a good idea that just doesn't work

You did a great review of a superb piece of hardware. I bought it mainly for reading ebooks, but I find myself using it for so much more.
After the update to windows 10 it feels even a tad faster and the interface is much more usable. I can only recommend it. The screen is perfect, the stand makes it stand out of the crowd and is great if you chose to read a book, because the round base (housing the battery) doubles as a nice way to hold it vertically.
I would recommend a decent screen protector glass though, and I got myself a cover from Amazon to protect the corners and the screen while traveling.
H. Hi could you tell me that if i can use micro usb to hdmi display out on this 8" tablet? As There is no MHL support? As dell venue pro 8 and other 8" tablets work with those adaptersIs it works with this one as well? Thanks.

I am also in Germany and want to buy this tab as well as a Lenovo Z50 70 laptop with English keyboard and OS. Saturn and amazon.de sell only the German versions. If I buy yoga 2 (windows) from Saturn / amazon.de is it easy to change the language settings to English? As I do not know German, will I run into any trouble? Does yoga 2 have a built-in camcorder? If I buy the yoga 2 LTE version, can I get internet connection by 3g mobile networks in other countries by using a SIM? I am struggling to find devices with English keyboard and OS here. Hi, thanks für watching! Yes it is very easy to change the language of the yoga tablet to English. It is the first thing that comes up when you turn it on. In regards to the notebook I would prefer it from Amazon UK. I only had good experiences with it.

I was told in the shop that basically it is not possible to transfer files from your PC to this tablet through cable. It is because both devices have windows OS and both work as hosts. I bought this Yoga i tried it on my own and it does not work, devices don't see each other.
