Yeah, the ground in this area is kind of marshy, so the tracks seem to have some issues staying nicely aligned. The maintenance crew in the beginning of the video was working to fix this.
You had to be on the west side of the UP tracks, since they run north-south and those are UP signals. Didn't see anythign on the ex-GTW outside of the end of one.

I'm actually not sure. Some trains honked, while others did not. There was maintenance work going on in the area, so that may be the reason. Dunno.
