We have returned to Riverside station on the BNSF Racetrack! Last time we were here, the rail traffic became so busy that we stayed much longer than needed. The BNSF started off slow with the Metra montage followed by a couple freight trains that made their way through. During lunch hour, the rail traffic gradually became slow. Ironically, the action slowly picked up intensity as two specific Heritage Units showed up for the day. It started off with chilly weather conditions in the morning but gradually began to get a bit warmer. It’s certainly feeling like the fall season in the morning. By the afternoon, it started to feel a bit warmer than the morning. Overall, it was another satisfying day on the BNSF! While we may not be returning back this month, we hope to come back very soon!
