Hello again Dee ☺. I sent a comment this morning but when I have looked to see if you had replied, I cannot see it anywhere? Anyways ... I just wanted to say that I was strong yesterday and went on a coach trip to Burnby Hall Gardens, the first outing without my beloved Terry. The water lily the ponds were amazing, and so many memories of times there together 😢. I also bravely went to the hospital today on my own for an MRI and I shook like a leaf! I'm claustrophobic! But I got through that too, on my own . I also mentioned that I couldn't find the link for the shoes that you recommend 🤔. Sending love, light and soft shoe blessings 🌹🌻🐾🐾

I’ve been alone a very long time it seems…even tho I’ve emotionally, physically and financially helped so many (both humans and non humans). It’s who I am I think. Dysfunction within my early childhood…I escaped by reading or going outside or snuggling with my dogs. Or just going up to my room, laying down and covering my ears with a pillow. Never liked the yelling. Not my dad and mom. They were fine. It was my mom and her mom. They had some major issues. But I’m still here. And I don’t think I know how to be unkind…but…it’s been tough with the grandson still here. He’s got to leave. I don’t know who he is anymore. Sad. I guess without experiencing the sorrow, we might not be able to experience the joy. Without the chaos and struggles, maybe I’d not have learned how to somewhat quiet my mind down and keep going. Hugs to you Dee. And Mishka. And to the man who wrote those eloquent words. 🫶🫶🫶
I also did that ad a kid....I'd crawl into the dog's bed and hide behind her when my parents fought (every weekend). I find the smell and touch of dogs comforting to this day. ❤

@@amanitamuscaria7500 Yes…I get it completely. My dogs’ eyes would look into my eyes…and I’d look into their eyes (I was a child)…and I felt as if their eyes were helping to calm me down and I felt safe. Almost as if they understood how I was feeling. Such a comfort. ❤️❤️
This was a beautiful piece. I’m glad you shared. Loneliness takes on many forms and can damage one physically and mentally. We may feel we have nothing to offer. However, there are small steps we can take to care for others that can also help ourselves.
Your channel is an inspiration and a comfort to me as I'm sure it is to so many others. I am a single mother of a beautiful hyperactive non-verbal autistic child and I am alone and socially isolated. Last night I found myself grieving deeply for the life I wish I had. This post and your channel have inspired me to reach out to other single parents in circumstances like mine with a channel of my own. I know there are many of us out there. I've been planning it for a while but now, because of you,I know it's time to do it, to bring comfort and connection and mutual understanding and guidance to my future tribe.
