in the summer of 1985, there was an independent tv station in Houston Tx that just started. they wanted to copy MTV and played music videos 24/7. i was in high school that summer and this station began broadcasting with the video Take on Me. If I recall correctly, they had this video in a nonstop loop for either one whole day or one whole week. I recall watching it ALOT!
I like the brief continuity of the animation from Take On Me to the beginning of Sun Always Shines On TV...and the transition to the 'live' performance in the cathedral.
What I want to know is 'HOW' did the band come up with their name 'A-HA' as their is now a pop drink named A-HA... first video of its kind... brilliantly done ... never bought their record tho ... couldnt find it here in Canada ... what a voice he has ...
Dave FM having the song and the talking at the same time is also hard to listen to. If you adding audio just have background without singing or lower the audio.
They have Many songs really brilliant like Rolling thunder , objects un the mirror , Out of blue , lifelines , cast in steel , nothing is keeping , You wanted more , time and Again , solace , white canvas , Holly ground , etc
