It not only "I would have killed to have the ghostbusters at my party" but also my parents would have killed me if I was that rude to a guest, birthday or not.
Some people are just dicks man. A coworker brought her son of like 9 or 10 to work one day, I offered him a box of biscuits in the staff room and he said something like "don't let my mum near it, she'll empty the whole box", with her standing right there might I add. I really had to bite my tongue, I would never have talked about my mother like that at that age, in front of her or not.
I know! That scene made me uncomfortable as a kid as well, seeing such horrible, nasty behaviour.
If you watch that scene again...the mother burts into laughter. .. To me she wasnt aware she was in the shot!! One second before shes like "jason shut up" and when the kids scream "heman heman" she burts and laughs and applauds . makes no sense
@Gwasgray as a 5yr old I scratched my head at why they wanted He-Man when we all knew by then he was lame and would’ve made more sense to want the Ninja Turtles, but now as an adult I understand that they didn’t want to give free product placement to their biggest rival and after Masters of the Universe bombed in ‘87 and nobody my age wanted He-Man toys it was a safe financial decision 😜
Also as an adult I don’t understand how they got sued yet the mayor got re-elected?
Now that kid is making it up by bringing a Ghostbusters 3 to the screen next year. 🤔
Extreme Ghostbusters wasn't bad the characters had some cool character development. Give it a shot.
i very much agree. im actually about to start rewatching it after watching this lol.
I actually liked Extreme Ghostbusters. Was hard to get into at first but it grew on me. I didn't find the characters too tropey but it's been many years since I watched the show. Could have a different opinion if I saw it now. At the time it was fine. Not as good as The Real Ghostbusters cartoon of course. It's totally worth a watch though. Would love Doug to check it out
They should also watch the Evolution cartoon. That was SHIT
Extreme Ghostbusters was awesome. Surprisingly adult and very creepy
joe evans I don’t know about the show but the porn parody is of the highest quality 👌
Ghostbusters 3 was Ghostbusters the video game from 2009!
Yes it was.
As a game it was fun as hell, but as a sequel it was even worse that GB2. Far superior to GB2016 however.
I liked that game (and it was the third movie) but I wish they would've ended the game a little differently. I think it would have been funnier if at the end of the game with Alyssa Milano's character (Dr. Ilyssa Selwyn) ended up with the nameless character the player played as. Peter flirts with Dr. Selwyn the entire game, the Ghostbusters save the world, rescue her, they tell the "rookie" character good work in the "we couldn't have done it without you kid" type of way, Peter asks Ilyssa out again, she turns him down because she has fallen for the "rookie", she and the "rookie" kiss. Then Peter tells him "You're fired," and the "rookie" (who hasn't said a single word the entire game) breaks the kiss with Ilyssa and says "Wait, what?" The End. Roll credits.
The game had a good structure that could be used for a movie. They pretty much got a lot of the fan service references out of the way pretty quick, like Slimer and Stay Puft. It really made a much better sequel to GBI than GBII. It expanded on Gozer's back story and showed a natural progression of their business and equipment.
As a kid I loves GB2 more than GB1. Now I cant really watch GB2, but adore GB1.
And you finally get to see what a giant slor is
The history of ghostbusters 2
Release: Ghostbusters 2 is the worst movie ever made!
Later: Ok its not that bad
Ghostbuster remake: Ghostbusters 2 is a flawless masterpiece!
Later: Ok its not that good
One of the positive aspects of Ghostbusters II is the fact that it birthed the Bobby Brown song "On Our Own." That song still holds up to this day and was released at a time when Bobby Brown had just released his second album "Don't Be Cruel" the previous year in 1988. The song was super big when it came out and the video(which featured several celebrity cameos) was all over MTV and BET back in the day.
Yeah it’s a good song, but honestly i think Supernatural is a upbeat song, and I think they should play that song on the 80s on 8 station on the radio. Once in a while.
I’m so happy to see another Real Thoughts video
MegaSoulHero same I just LOVE this series
@@angie-noh8too bad it ended here
Holy shit a new real thoughts. Just as the prophecy foretold

What was Slimer before he died? He was John Belushi.
Confirmed
From Wired. 😐
Aykroyd himself said so in a Johnny Carson interview.
In canon he's a hungry spirit. More like a sin, the embodiment of a instinct instead of a actual ghost.
Extreme Ghostbusters is good, and the characters for the most part do have personalities.
Kylie is the goth girl who's really into lore.
Roland is the tech and car enthusiast.
Eduardo is lazy and sarcastic.
Garrett was an adrenaline junkie.
It's also quite a bit darker than the real ghostbusters.
Indeed it was considering they had a Hellraiser episode.
100% agree with you.
Fucking eh. "Deadliners" episode is creep-fucking-y. It's waaay more intense than RGB. When I saw them shit on EGB I was like "oh must go to the comments and defend the honour of EGB". They are right about one thing though, crappy title.
@GuyX They're "Busters of Extreme Ghosts." :D
That’s why it’s called EXTREME Ghostbusters.
I know reviewing video games aren't really your thing, but how about reviewing the 2009 Ghostbusters video game? It has the original cast reprising their roles and the story ties the two movies together into a coherent narrative and the game brings it all back full circle...
Also, the Vigo painting is being kept in the Ghostbusters HQ lobby... if you activate it, it talks, and one of the things it says is a reference to Venkman in the second movie talking about painting a kitten, saying that Vigo wants a kitten... and in the game, the painting basically laments his lack of a kitten...
DEFINITELY watch Extreme Ghostbusters. Underrated.
It was a decent show and I had wished the 2016 movie had been that, or at least like it!!!
If they wanted more diversity in Ghostbusters they just had to make Extreme Ghostbusters (2016)
KingTAkeem 83 It was a watered down rip off of The Real Ghostbusters, crippled Ray, Hispanic Venkman, A Winston clone, it fucked up Egon, Janine,Slimer and the car. Their gear looked like vacuum cleaners.
I really prefer Honest Thoughts over First Reactions. They're both fine, but the Honest Thoughts present many more opinions and jokes due to unedited rants.
Could you guys do more of these? Maybe one for Waterworld or Timothy Green?
I want to hear there thoughts on kangaroo jack, doom, and dragon Ball evolutions.
@Derrell S That's true, but they're not usually like that. If they were, I'd probably enjoy them even more.
But, yeah, the idea of an hour of first viewing makes me hard AND wet at the same time.
Real thoughts on Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again
Yes yes yes!!!
I'm guessing that will be an NC review once it's on DVD.
Real thoughts: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The "bratty kid" bit at the beginning I think was just an in-joke with the cast, since that was Ivan Reitman's son telling them, "My dad says you guys are full of crap."
And now he’s making Ghostbusters 3 or 5 if you include the 2009 game & 😐2016. 🤷🏻♂️
The river of slime was my favorite part of the movie as a kid. I was a boy growing up in the early Nickelodeon era. Slime was one of the coolest things back then.
"Literally shitting" on the Ghostbusters Rob? Must of missed that scene?
you think going from the Ghostbusters cartoon to the movie is jarring, try that with Beetlejuice.
GoddessOfWhim2003 oh yeah, I remember hating the Beetlejuice movie as a kid, because in the cartoon he was a weird but fun friend. In the movie he's a creepy villain. I like the movie now, but man it was jarring
@@wingedmirage4226 i wasn't mad but confused when i saw the movie. "But he's the good guy, right?"
Was it Ghostbusters 2 that killed the franchise, or was it actually the cartoon? You guys rightfully had high praise for the cartoon, but seem to forget that the cartoon dipped in quality after the first couple of seasons with some of the re-designs, changes in voice talent, and increased focus on Slimer that went so far they changed the name of the show to Slimer and The Real Ghostbusters. The first couple seasons of the cartoon are indeed brilliant, and really captured the tone, and essence of the characters from the first film. They definitely dumbed it down after the first two seasons, though, and I think that's where Ghostbusters 2 took it cues from unfortunately.
Ghostbusters 3 exists as an awesome videogame on Xbox 360 and ps3. Stars original cast and written by ramis and aykroyd. Plus u get to be a ghostbuster.
Such an awesome game.
Amazing game. Not the Xbox one version the 2009 version.
All original cast voices. Pure magic. Still cheap to pick up.
The only problems with it are:
1. No Dana or Louis.
2. Bill Murray really phoned in his performance.
The only good Ghostbusters sequel was The Frighteners.
The only thing I remember about Extreme Ghostbusters was that it had a really damn good finale.
Yes.
Watch Extreme Ghostbusters.
I'm someone who was completely against the concept of the show when it first came out but after watching it.....
It's a lot better than I thought it would be.
It takes the concepts of The Real Ghostbusters and goes a bit harder with some of them.
Hell, that show has some serious creep factor in it as well.
I still love Ghostbusters 2
Me too, I don't get the hate for it. Sure, it's goofy, but so was the first one.
Yeah Ghostbusters 2 will always be better than 2016 movie
Here's a fun activity to do in 2021, folks: watch Doug and Rob insist that a Ghostbusters III with the original cast returning would be awful, then watch Doug's positive review of Ghostbusters: Afterlife 😆
It’s cheesy now but that bathtub scene scared The Hell out of me as a kid!
I’m not gonna lie,I kinda thought it was hot
THANK YOU
Actually, the bathtub scene did scare me as kid. But not as much as the Ghost Librarian from the first film.
We actually DID get a Ghostbusters 3 with the original cast. It was called Ghotbusters: The Video Game, and it was FUCKIN' AMAZING.
Extreme Ghostbusters is definitely worth checking out. The stories and characters really did improve as time went by, and although it never quite hit "best-of-the-best" levels, it's overall good enough to be considered a 90's classic, at least in my opinion.
Ive missed seeing real thoughts
Me too
The fact that Winston didn't get any development yet the running gag from the first one did
Any reason why they cut down on his screentime?
Because the character was originally written for Eddie Murphy, even with a backstory that had him in the air force but Murphy chose to do Beverly Hills Cop
There is a lot of deleted footage.
...... WHAT???? ... wait a minute, so this applies to the first movie too?? So why didn't that movie have this problem!? And how come they deleted so much footage!?
All of the "deleted scenes" from the first movie are side gags or continuations of other scenes. Billy Murray and Columbia had a heavy hand in shaping Ghostbusters 2.
It's funny that they keep lamenting the lack of adult content in the sequels (drinking, smoking, cursing, sex, etc...) after already praising the cartoon that never needed such things. Bottom line, it still all comes down to good writing & direction.
jp3813 it’s more of the fact that the studio thought making it kid friendly was taking out that stuff but it ultimately backfired
+Connor Westhoff Yes, but the cartoon did the same thing w/o sacrificing quality.
The cartoon was clearly aimed at kids though. But unlike Ghostbusters 2, it had stuff for adults and fans of the first movie to enjoy.
At least, until Q5 got their hands on the cartoon and fucked it up.
+Mark Haynes Well, they just pointed out those same things for this sequel: aimed at kids, had stuff for adults (ex: severed heads), and for fans of the first movie (ex: giant creature).
jp3813 That’s pretty much what they said.
The Extreme Ghostbusters had some really good monster designs. And the characters were surprisingly developed. Best example was the goth girl, who you find out isn't as dark as she seems. In fact she was so popular they redid her for the IDW comics.
The cartoon is on Netflix!
Is it really? That's cool,
Another show for me to watch.
Derrick Marbury the list of films and cartoon see just keeps getting longer and longer.
Oh well.
Extreme Ghostbusters is on Hulu
Do a sibling rivalry or doug reviews of the Happytime Murders
Fun Fact; GHOSTBUSTERS and GREMLINS came out the exact same weekend
Trevor Thoenen, The Movie Buff gremlins and a nightmare on elm street came out the same day
What a time to be alive. If you were.
Any idea which one made more money? I'm curious.
Logan Rogers based on opening weekend alone ghostbusters made more with like 13,000,000 compared to gremlins 12,000,000. If u want the exact u should be able to look it up pretty easily.
@@Blondie_117 true enough thanks homie 👌
I love Ghostbusters 2 , I think that's it's a great film...
Extreme Ghostbusters is a good show, it's in fact a little darker than you'd expect, it just had bad timing.
I would say the video game was Ghostbusters 3 and that had a fun story
"Its always the quiet ones."
I saw the original Ghostbusters in the theater when I was nine. I thought I was going to see a film with funny people I liked doing funny things. Which I was. But also...right from the beginning I got thrown for a loop with the librarian ghost. I wasn't prepared for how scary it was going to be. Then as the movie went on, the frying eggs scene, the Zuul possession scene, the Vince possession scene, by the time it got to the containment unit explosion I was shaking in fear.
I was still willing to stick it out though but I was seeing the movie with a friend and when she said she wanted to leave I didn't argue with her. So we walked out at the "Looks like we're going to put in some over time" scene.
A year later when the movie came back around to theaters (they did that then) both me and my friend went to see it again and this time made it all the way through.
Then in 1989 I saw Ghostbusters II. I was 14 and found nothing scary about it. But I thought it was legitimately a good movie. Not a great movie. The first movie was a 5 star GREAT movie. The sequel was a 3 or maybe 3 and 1/2 star good movie. I still feel that way. I even went back and saw it for a second time a month later before it left theaters. Yeah I loved Ghostbusters and I found the story in the sequel to be a bit wanting but even with the cast firing on only half cylinders and it being a retread of the first the movie it was enough to make it an entertaining and good enough movie.
I have to say, when I watched your review and you described the way they could have changed the intro, and the idea of Sigourney Weaver's character becoming a Ghostbuster, I was just thinking, "Hell yeah! That would have been awesome!"
Ok so this is important, I searched for the story of the guy who play Vigo and it took me a while to found what he did!
His Wikipedia article makes no mention of it, but it does talk about how he died peacefully in Mexico with his friend and his dog Kisses.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH HUMANITY???
Wow. He was a piece of work. His dad sounded like an awesome guy despite what he had to face though. How did that happen?
What did he do?
As unorthidox as it may be doug should review ghostbusters for the xbox 360 that's the real ghostbusters 3
jordan thompson Would be hard to write the kind of review, in order for the to fit into his schedule, he'd have to be able to beat in a couple of days, and only then could he start to review it.
I saw it as well in 89 in theaters, 88/89/90 was a great 3 years of films that defines me Batman, TMNT, Beetlejuice & Ghostbusters 2, Even though I saw The original in 88 on Vhs. As GB 2 wasn't as good, It holds a great time to be kid in the 80s. And From those 4 films I became an actor, haunted houses for 20 years in Cincinnati because I saw them & others Who framed Roger Rabbit, Indiana Jones Radiers of the Lost Ark I think came out then. Then all the cartoons.
1989 was the best year of movie releases ever.
Ghostbusters 2 came out in June of 1989!
G2 did have a good soundtrack
Two weak tracks, otherwise awesome.
I got the soundtrack for Christmas on cassette.
I still have my cassette tape and I got it on iTunes on my phone.
You guys should do a quick look at the 2009 Ghostbuster video game. Which is considered 'The 3rd Movie'
the video game is a video game, not a movie
@@bucwhovian8305 Aykroyd:"I've seen work on the video game, I've watched it progress, my rap now to people is 'This is essentially the third movie"
27:07 well, you actually said it. Now you gotta review Evolution.... and Maybe Men in Black 2... and I still gotta know what the deal was with the Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Wedding... but mostly evolution
extreme ghostbust busters has some dark horror moments it's not amazing but you should give it a try
Extreme Ghostbuster is what GB2 could have been or even the 2016 one. You got to check it out. Watch at least 6 eps and you will see what is good about it. It will blow your mind if you watch all of it.
Now, the franchise has been given a new lease on life with Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
I was expecting a "Zuul M-Fer" joke in the reveiw... Just to try and nail home how the film was trying to be the first one. Ah, well. Guess old memes really do die sometimes.
Loved GB growing up, couldn't wait for GB2 and it isn't as good as the original but I still loved having the original cast back!
The trouble with the reboot is it was a movie that tried to remind you of the old movies in every scene but without being in that world!
The video game I guess was a true sequel to GB2! 🖖
I love listening to the Noatalgia Critic episodes that deal with Ghostbusters, while I work on my Ghostbusters Gear. What cracks me up looking back on this is the discussion of the guys returning. And then looking at Afterlife 😂
Extreme Ghostbusters was actually not as bad as the initial episodes made it look. ...Although, the animation took a few steps back...
What I'd say is that if you're looking for some of the most inventive and frankly serious ghosts that ever hit the franchise, go for it! For me, that was the selling point of the show. The ghosts. The four main characters were so-so, yes they develop, but they didn't need to each be a token.
Story-wise, they were pretty good there too, EXCEPT for the biggest problem I had with it which was these stories wrapped up with all the damage done being undone. It was roughly the equivalency of Superman's eye beams fixing the Great Wall of China.
So, yeah, I'd say give it a watch, it's a very different perspective on Ghostbusters but those endings can spoil it.
The 2009 game Ghostbusters is Ghostbuster 3.
Complete with original cast even Walter Peck is back, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Rams script, and takes place in 1994
You guys still need to watch Extreme Ghostbusters
Finally, the answer I have sought.
Rob is the elder brother.
Yet Doug’s the popular one. ;)
Extreme Ghostbusters has its ups and downs. To get the best look at the characters, story, scares, and feel of the show, I'd recommend these episodes:
Darkness at Noon, Part 1 and 2
The True Face of a Monster
Deadliners
The Unseen
Sonic Youth
Grundelesque
Till Death Do We Start
Rage
The Sphinx
Back in the Saddle, Part 1and 2
Cheers I’ve never seen the show . Gonna give these episodes a try
I liked the evil slime turning into good slime and then bringing the statue of liberty, that was awesome
To be fair, I don't remember too much from Extreme Ghostbusters. I will say though, after all these years I still think that intro is badass.
Rob makes a valid point - when kids latched onto the property, it spelled the end. Same happened with RoboCop, when a film originally rated NC-17 (X) became a kiddie property by the third movie.
Thanks for reminding me of how much I miss your discussions on Steven Universe.
I've heard the extreme ghost-busters was good, but I've never seen it so idk :/ I think it was written by the people who did the cartoon of Men in Black and that was good( I know it had a similar art style), so It might be worth checking out.
As a child, the Bathtub scene scared the shit out of me. lol
I guess it's a function of growing up with both these films, but I've never really understood why this one gets so much hate.
Not a popular opinion (at least with people online), but I've always preferred Ghostbusters 2 over the original. Perhaps it was because I was younger when 2 came out and it was a bit more like the cartoon, and details like the stuff in the sewer with slime and the ghost train were better and scarier in GB2 than the haunted library and the librarian in the original.
Yes, The Real Ghostbusters IS an amazing cartoon. Astonishingly sophisticated writing. I was going to say "for a children's cartoon" but you know what? It was sophisticated writing PERIOD. Some genuinely creative ghosts and backstories, both entirely fictional and based on real events. It was pretty amazing, let's be honest.
arbereshe according to the tradition of this franchise apparently
Up until they ditched Lorenzo Music and made Slimer the main character.
"I loved trains when I was younger. I went to engineering school for four years before I realised it had nothing to do with trains..."
"Man, can I parallel park or what?"
Two of my favourite jokes, from just ONE Real Ghostbusters episode!
I grew up with Ghostbusters 2, I never saw the first one until Extreme Ghostbusters came out.
Ghostbusters 2 and the later seasons of The Real Ghostbusters had it in my mind that Ghostbusters was goofy, and I loved all the goofy stuff with Slimer. I didn't like the early Ghostbuster cartoon's episode because they weren't as goofy and a bit too scary for me.
Once Extreme rolled around I was more curious for that dark creative story telling, and I finally saw the first one, and it all clicked for me.
This is exactly why 'Ghostbusters 2' isn't as good as the original. Because 'The Real Ghostbusters' took the basic premise, ran with it, and tried many different things with what was already established. Granted, it was a 'kids cartoon', but it did have some creepy moments, and having J. Michael Strazinsky as one of the main writers didn't hurt. That being said, the series did get worse as it progressed, but the fact that the cartoon took the franchise forward more so than the movie explains why it would always get picked over the sequel. Also, the fact that the first movie was popular with kids was also the sequel's undoing despite the cartoon's presence.
This movie is so underrated
Damn, I wish you guys had brought James Rolfe in as a special guest for this "Real Thoughts". You guys are in sync with your opinions of Ghostbusters II, Rolfe would been a bit more of a defender of the sequel and balance things out better.
"the kids literally shit on the ghostbusters" id like to see that
The funny thing is, Ghostbusters did the whole "We need more diversity" thing with much better results in the 90s with Extreme Ghostbusters, you had a guy in wheelchair and a female ghostbuster (who was punk) and instead of focusing on that, they just amped up the scary shit and made it Ghostbusters for older kids. It was really good.
Edit: So I just reached the part in the video where they talk about it, yeah, I guess all I can say is, give it a chance because it's probably not as bad as you think it might be.
Ray is the adorkable goofy one that you can't help but want to hug, Peter is the sassy/sarcastic one, Egon is the genius, and Winston is the cool guy, Winston is super chill and laid back while also being a good straight-man while Ray is a big hug giant kid in an adult body with an extremely high IQ.
Well said.
I saw Ghostbusters in that order, too. Cartoon in 86, then the movie. Played the cassette tape Side A to Side B, over and over. Then the sequel came out and I got the game on my Commodore Amiga. I gotta say, I always preferred Harold Ramis' deadpan deliveries. It's just so matter of fact, but it's so funny.
When you mentioned Winston saying "Always the quiet ones", that whole moment felt like a basketball set up shot, with Ray deflecting Venkman's off-hand comment about sleeping with the slime onto Egon and then he says NOTHING, but his face was priceless and then Winston comes in, as you said and then Venkman finishes it with "You hound", which for me felt like those stand up comedy moments where you deliver the punch line and people are laughing and you tell a slightly less funny follow up punchline to get a second laugh that cuts through the first laugh.
4:42 as a 5 year old when this came out, that tub scene was terrifying. I think something about the build up with the baby being in the safe comfort of his mother, and of course the obvious vulnerability of getting ready for a bath/shower.
As an adult, I just wish they revisited the scene. It seems like most people check out when they see the tub fold, but I think that's what makes it feel paranormal or other-worldly. Like, how creepy would it have been to see a normal shot of the bathroom afterward with them investigating, with the porcelain all bent up in some unnatural, impossible way?
Happy real thoughts are back.
you guys work so well off each other
I had forgotten that Extreme Ghostbusters even existed, I was so young when it was on. I remember liking it though. I never got to see the original 80s series, as it was before my time. It would probably be amusing to compare the two, as I have a sense that the 90s very 90s.
Yes Ghostbusters 2 is quite literally the "Secret of the Ooze" of the Ghostbusters Canon in plot and writing.
I highly recommend Extreme Ghostbusters. Definitely not as good as the original cartoon. But if your love Ghostbusters, then you should check it out.
The earliest you see xmas decorations is thanksgiving weekend?!! Seriously?? Earliest we see them in the uk is immediately after summer not joking!
I know the bathtub scene is so cheesy but scared me badly as a kid.
If it was blood it also would have been a cool call back to when they said that churches windows were bleeding in the first one.
still love the movie, but really pointed out things i just never paid attention not being obsessed with it but just enjoying it, won't see the movie the same way again but not going to kill enjoyment when I do.
Extreme Ghostbustersr is pretty good. It has its problems, but it’s pretty fun watching the characters work off of each other, plus they had a few eyebrow raising jokes, especially in the pilot. And some of the creature designs were pretty nightmare inducing. Like the ones that were based on Hellraiser.
Please review The Sandlot 2.
Extreme is definitely worth a watch. You'll quickly find the characters have more personality than you thought, and the jokes are pretty funny. It's gained a lot of fans over the years. Plus, the two part ending was great.
The Boogie Man from the cartoon ligit horrified me as a child 💀
The bathtub scene fucking traumatised me as a child, my god.
What's the story they were referring to with the villain actor?
I remember there was an episode of 'Extreme Ghostbusters' that was based on 'Hell Raiser' and it was really creepy when I saw it, but that was years ago. I do remember the character in the wheelchair was like a jock character.
Harold Ramis: Egon, but not forgotten.
Oh and I forgot to say Extreme Ghostbusters is not a bad cartoon at all in might’ve felt that way during the 90s when you first saw it but if you look back at it now on Hulu which they have the entire series the show is a lot of fun and probably much more scarier than the original series with the Og ghostbusters with bigger threats and more grotesque designs and the characters Kylie Griffin, Roland Jackson, Garrett Miller and Eduardo Rivera are all very interesting and unique characters in my opinion and they all work off each other really well in reality if Sony wanted to do another ghostbusters it should have been like this passing the torch to a younger generation similar to force awakens hell if they wanted to have female ghostbusters in a sequel they should of went with Kylie in my opinion even Janine Melnitz since they both work with each other in the comics or even those two and Dana Beret she would of been an awesome twist for the film series as a character who’s been through a ton and maybe became fed up with being a damsel in distress when dealing with the paranormal but any ways like you guys should check extreme ghostbusters it’s worth a rewatch
I'm in the same boat as you guys are when it comes to Extreme Ghostbusters. I haven't watched it since it originally aired in the late '90s. It never aired in reruns in the 2000's, we've never gotten a DVD release here in North America. They got one overseas, but, we've never gotten one here, so aside from TV recordings on RUclips or DVDrips from the overseas DVD release, I haven't had access to it since it originally aired. So I guess you guys could give it a try, but it'd be risky because I honestly don't remember if it was good or not.
Extreme Ghostbusters had some Hellraiser-ass horrors in it.
I actually do recommend that you give Extreme Ghostbusters a chance. They're different from the Real Ghostbusters but I think that was the point.
Do Ghostbusters cartoon for Nostalgia-ween
Worth watching for the Walter Peck impressions.
All I remember about Extreme Ghostbusters was liking the different monsters designs.
Yes, cartoon came out in 1986. Ghostbusters 2 was released June 1989.
