@westcoastsaw nice saw Amigo. Stock or ported? I'm going to get a set of dogs. When I saw them at the store, they looked different than what u have on in the video. 2 styles? Filter looks like a winner! Good stuff. As far as 572 goes I have a custom built one out of Wisconsin. Stump Shot saws. It's no joke run it almost every job and it's really grown on me. My favorite ls are my 500i and my 572.

I cut ponderosa’s at around 6k’ asl around Reno, NV. I couldn’t decide if I wanted a husky or Stihl when I got into bigger wood than my MS391 liked. Ended up getting a ms500i. Very pleased with it. Runs as good as it can for our altitude, been trying to find a guy to Port and polish it for me. Mostly beetle kill timber for fuel wood. Stuff is tough and stringy. I’m a one handed sawyer so having some extra hp and your clutch cover, 3pt dogs and most everything else you sell help me tremendously. I want to try real timber in Or or Wa someday. Also, can’t thank you enough for you offering military discount Gordy. Thank you very much for that! 🇺🇸

The filter setup for the 572xp looks great! That saw has very good filtration and this filter setup will be even better. I have been cutting alot of very dusty dead ash trees, that dust is very fine and plugs up filters fast, even on my Husky's. Any thoughts on making a similar filter setup for a Stihl MS361? I have 5 that really need a better filter setup. I realize the 361 has an odd airbox but I think something could be 3d printed to replace it and except a foam filter.

@@westcoastsaw1368 woos and I are from the same area. I always laugh when people say oh you’re just cutting pine. I’ve explained to people in my videos how high altitude kills a saws power and makes the trees tough on the stump. Eastern Oregon is very similar to flagstaff. I do the majority of my cutting between 5 and 7000’. I run ported 372’s and I can say if a guy can make a saw run at this elevation they’ll rip on the coast. Great video man! I run your dawgs I might have to give one of your clutch covers a try since it’s getting hard to get ahold of the heavy duty version husky has.

I have a Husqvarna 372 coming my way 1st of July. I live to the east on the Navajo Reservation.
The Ponderosa trees in this area are not as sappy as most pine trees. I think it has a lot to do with the lower humidity, as well goes for the smaller growth rings.
