On the first disadvantage and tying into the Haemonculi: The Dark Eldar actually breed faster than any other Eldar faction. Eldar gestation is long as mentioned, but the Haemonculi will fast grow batches of conceived fetuses up to adulthood while implanting all of the knowledge they will need to survive the galaxy and their home of Commoragh. (All of that is fueled by pain. Imagine a Hellraiser style NIQ ward made of living bone and flesh with torture victims constantly being brought in to fuel these evil little xeno babies) This means that Dark Eldar can replace losses very quickly and really the only limiting factor on their population is likely the notion of not wanting too many predators and too little prey. Additionally, one other service the Haemonculi provide is resurrection. A Drukari will trade a piece of their soul to a Haemonculus and in turn the Haemonculus will resurrect them if they are killed. A big part of Dark Eldar politics hinges on whether one is only trying to temporarily eliminate a rival or permanently kill them. The later is much more complicated. All the Haemonculus needs to carry out this process is a tiny portion of the Drukari's body recovered from the battlefield. Blood, a shard of bone, etc are all acceptable. Taking that a step further, many Haemonculi are able to have themselves resurrected with less or in some cases, no remains at all. There's even Haemonculus Covens who place a high value on their members seeking out and experiencing new and exquisitely distinct/painful/unusual deaths. Sometimes you'll see a Haemonculus allow himself to be destroyed, maybe by an anti-tank weapon, maybe by a psyker, and if that is a new death for that Haemonculus, his esteem among his fellows will go up. If he is sloppy and dies a death he has already experienced, or an utterly mundane death, his esteem and favor in the Coven will dwindle. THAT is the really terrifying stuff about the Dark Eldar. Even the Necrons are simply beyond death. Forerunners stay dead when killed and incinerated flood stay down. The Haemonculus covens embrace death and have actually transcended it. Permanently killing one is nearly impossible and only ever realistically achievable if you are somehow able to enlist the aid of another Haemonculus. Adding to that, the Haemonculi have additional esoteric and terrifying weapons. They've poisoned planetary populations. They have artifacts that resemble mirrors that when broken, will cause whoever's reflection is in the mirror to break like their reflection did. Their blood is toxic and is frequently used as a catalyst for a ranged acid flame thrower type weapon. Ossifier pistols that trigger rampant bone growth which immobilizes a victim as their bones literally erupt with spiked growths. They've even stolen whole planets into the webway to use as a giant pitri dish for their experiments.

That was 3 flaws... I was promised 10... I want my money back. Joking aside other major flaws in the dark eldar is their lack of heavy armor, siege capability, and their own weakness to the same hit and run tactics they use. In fact due to the nature of dark eldar armies, blitzkrieg style warfare against them is a good tactic when possible. They can't recover from a heavy decisive attack early on an engagement. Additionally their chief strength in battle is surprisr, terror and fear, which if avoided by an enemy such as necron or tyranid, or even demons, sets them at a serious disadvantage. They are natural attackers, but Ill adapted for defence.
The Dark Eldar are indeed terrifying foe, but the only reason they still exist is the very reason they survived Slaneesh : Cormorragh. Because let's be clear : if anyone had a clear pathway to that place, instead of it being lost in the completely fucked labyrinth that the webway became, not counting the incredible amount of booby traps the Dark Eldar must have set up over the millenias (and probably remaining Aeldari Empire defences and superweapons), the Dark Eldars would have been exterminated. Purely and simply because, save some of their Craftworld cousins, EVERYONE wants them dead. Badly. At least anyone who can be somewhat comprehended, so the Tyrranids don't count. The Imperium on it's own would probably dump enough ships and manpower on a crusade to wipe them off that it'd look more like an invasion fleet straight out of the Great Crusade more than anything else. Any Necron Phaeron smart enough to realize how much of a danger the Dark Eldar are and how much they feed Chaos would probably send enough fleets and null fields to obliterate an entire chunk of the webway, and if they were really, really powerful they might actually find a World Engine and throw it at them Dark Throne style. The Tau.....just don't have the firepower to do the Dark Eldars anything, but would propose to help anyone that looked sane enough and was going after them.
The Tyranids wouldn't care at all about Dark Eldar sadism, but they wouldn't let perfectly usable biomass go to waste. If the Swarm had access to the webway, they would consume Commoragh along with everything else, and in the Tyranid Codex it s mentioned that a group of Dark Eldar very foolishly found a clutch of dormant Lictors on a burnt out bioship, and tried to send them to fight in the arenas of Commoragh, only for the Lictors to wake up, butcher the Dark Eldar slavers who were transporting them, and disappear into the shadows of the under city of Commoragh, so it is likely that the Hive Mind now is at least aware that Commoragh exists, and may even have a general notion of its relative location in the Webway...
Don't forget that the Dark Eldar literally draw strength, vitality, long life and even the ability to heal their bodies from pain, both that of others and themselves. As violence drags on and suffering increases, far from weakening over the course of a period of conflict however fierce, the Dark Eldar become stronger, both metaphorically and literally - their physical bodies are empowered with greater speed and strength the more pain they are surrounded by. That is both a strength and a weakness - a strength because they don't tire and just grow stronger the worse the conflict grows, but also a weakness because their addiction to suffering can overwhelm their tactical good sense and make them act rashly or in a militarily inadvisable manner.
The fact that their home is located in the Webway is both an advantage and a serious weakness. If the Adaptus Mechanicus were to ever find access to the Webway and a path to Comora, the Dark Eldar would be seriously weakened, if not destroyed. There is also the risk that the Webway will collapse over time since it is no longer being fully maintained. This could lead to a Daemonic incursion or even a full on dark crusade by the followers of Sla'anesh attacking Comora.
The daemonic incursion thing has already happened and they were fine. Commorragh exists as a city of various realms linked by the webway. These gates can be closed.
American Ben in this episode reminded me of that "Hail Hydra" meme. Magog and Chozo next? I recently spoke with someone who is into 40K and he claims that Samus Aran is on the level of a Primarch, so why not look at her Chozo benefactors?
The end of the Eldar draws near. Slaanesh hungers for the souls of all, and it is our duty...the duty of the glorious 3rd Legion to deliver them to She Who Thirsts. Let their final screams echo in the ears of the most beloved and hated Corpse-Emperor.
I will add a few more weaknesses here: 4. Over-specialization - Dark Eldar weaponry and implementation is impressive and dangerous, but this focus on pain-infliction, torture and raids leads to them neglecting other aspects of combat, which can in turn lead to them being massively outgunned by other factions. Remember, this is why Dark Eldar never fight a fair fight or at least conventional battles: they'd lose and badly. 5. Dedication to Pain and War - Because the Dark Eldar are dedicated to war and only war, it means they lack the true industrial and even agricultural capabilities of other factions. While this may be associated with the numbers weakness, this is more to do with a lack of ability to replace lost equipment or supplies on the rate of their enemies. This can also lead to stagnation in these areas and create severe inefficiencies in operations and production management. A real life example of this is the ancient state of Sparta, which relied on slaves for the development of society and led to them always being behind the other Greek City States in everything but their heavy infantry. 6. Massive Slave Population - a carry on from the previous point, the Dark Eldar have a very large and ever growing slave population of various cultures. I don't need to spell out the dangers of this as I need only point to the slave revolts under Spartacus. Though defeated, his revolt caused tremendous damage to the Roman Republic. Now picture the Dark Eldar suffering something similar but with external enemies to take advantage of the situation. 7 One Craftworld - The Eldar are few in number, but have many Craftworlds through out the galaxy. This means if even one falls, the race can still survive. The Dark Eldar by comparison only have one craftworld. Though it is ridiculously well defended and exists practically in its own pocket dimension, the loss of Commorragh would spell the end for the Dark Eldar. And that's all I've got.
J Sailer out gunned! What are you on about when blackhole lmgs and miniguns that shoot unusable star particles their basic infantry weapons destroy the thickest of the imperiums armor in a single shot
@@sentinelplayztm922 More ships available = more firepower output and the ability to take losses. I don't care how good your weapons are if you cannot back it up with enough support units to make them work. And because of the tactics of the Dark Eldar and their limited numbers, it means they're always going to encounter opponents with more guns and bodies than them, which makes a conventional battle one they often cannot afford.
I don't see how being outgunned is an issue if their way of war is hit and run tactics. If they were outgunned, they would just retreat. They would never fight a conventional battle, as they would never let themselves be put in that situation. For the 5th point, they have a large industrial sector. I don't know about agriculture, but industry is something they do not lack. Also, they have one of the most advanced medical science in 40k. For 6, the entire dark eldar population are capable warriors, so I don't see a slave revolt causing too much damage. Last I checked, not every Roman was part of the army or a capable fighter. For 7, Commorragh is a city of pocket dimensions linked by the webway. These gates can be shut off. This makes it very hard for the city itself to be lost and links to the 6th point that a rebellion won't go far. Worst case scenario is the city becoming fractured. There are stories where Vect killed a rival by sending him a black hole in a box and did not damage the city, the gate to that guy's realm was closed so only that realm was destroyed. Hell, there's even been daemon incursions that have had similar results with those realms becoming isolated.
Cammoragh isn't a purpose built craftworld though it's original use is that it's a Navel hub used to transport entire eldar fleets to different parts of the galaxy . It's a space-port city thats used as the gateway or check point for eldar ships that had to dock at before going onto far flung destinations in real space when using the webway. Try not to think of it as a craftworld but an Interdenominational spaceport station that's many thousands if not infinitely thousands times larger than any craftworld

ARCHONs are sometimes afraid of Haemonculi. Remember, they are the ones than can (if you pay them and they decide to actually uphold their bargain (strangely one of the more "trustworthy" group)) deliver your soul from Slaanesh by reviving you. That is a lot of power and many archons and drakons go on raids simply to keep the haemonculi in their employ paid and entertained. Not to mention that the oldest (the coven of 12) predated the fall of the Aeldari empire, which means that they have been PERSONALLY "perfecting" their art for longer than humanity has existed.
While sleeping with a Dark Eldar Witch or Witch's won't end well for anyone, they'll bring u to heights of Pleasure we cant even imagine. In the "Path of" series of books Archon incubus and I forget the 3rd, a group of archons attempt to overthrow Supreme Overlord Vect.... read the books to find out how it goes 😁
The Dark Eldar are the weakest. The only thing that keeps them alive is the fact their city is well hidden within the Webway. Also, the Tau would easily be annihilated if the Imperium could afford to turn its attention to them, i.e. if it wasn't beset at all sides.

I don't even know what kind of Dark Eldar VISA credits or something like you took you know Dark Eldar reviews the card or whatever so he sells you and then this guy is like you know like "*rubbing his hands* this was gonna be fun..." Straps you down to a table pumps you full of drugs so that way even if he like pokes you in the finger you're like ah shit you know you like the worst pain you've ever felt just by poking you in the finger because now you're your nervous system is like on fire with this drug that he pumped you full of and now he just brings out like this giant mallet and just starts smashing your feet and turning it and turning your damn feet into like applesauce k? And then all of a sudden you guys you're screaming I you know like an in terrible pain he's getting off on this shit and that's what Dark Eldar are okay like they literally there's like a psychic backlash that they feed off of when it comes to your pain and so they they relish in it essentially he's standing on top of the table bashing your feet into applesauce well like jacking off on you like it's as stupid as it sounds like that's I would can't it sounds funny but can any of it can anybody here truly argue that it wouldn't happen and then like the Dark Eldar universe of course it can happen, he's jacking off onto your forehead while smashing your feet into apple sauce what a shitty fate then he has a technology to probably like saw you saw your leg off at the knee like "okay I'll just regrow you a new limb and smash that one tomorrow.." anything that you can think about when it comes to RAPE. I'm not even joking when it comes to like rape and shit like don't do anything that they can to torture you to death both psychologically and obviously physically as well it's terrible terrible terrible fate. They have, I'm pretty sure they'll pump you full of drugs as long as you keep screaming in pain they will extend your life as long as they can so I don't know if there's something if there's someone out there that's lived to be like a hundred years old as a slave has just been tortured for a hundred years straight. Trust me as long as you feed them that the pain that they want there they're gonna keep you alive as long as they possibly can if they can extend your life to a thousand years they'd probably do it now just sit there and like every single day.
Overall the Dark Eldar are 2 at best, though if it was Ranking the Best...Light Infantry/Fast Attack Xenos they'd Rank 5/5. But overall, their a Sharp Scalpel aka Death by a 1,000 Cuts, they cant compete with Orks, Tyranids & Necrons in a Pitched Long Battle.

Can't the Necrons just enslave Slenesh thus voiding the Dark Eldar and other's motives? In fact, how many Warp God involving problems do the Necrons have the power to solve through God enslavement?
You really did not do right on how deprived they are, first they see how much pleasure they can get out of you and doing this for thousands of years you can't imagine what kind of debauchery goes down in their torture chambers, and when you have lost your will to live on the horrible horrible things they have done to crevasses of your body, they bring the pain and fuse it with the things they did to pleasure you. Now imagine hooked blades in your crevasses. And this is not even CLOSE to what they really do with your body.
I think this is the list Dalek Flood Necrons or forerunners And the rest I dunno Please fanboys attack me!!!! I am no heretic I am for humanity. But as we learn from our enemy we shall become stronger
Druhkari are not demonic, they actively seek to avoid much contact with the warp going so far as to even outlaw the Eldar's potent psychic powers. Another bonus I'd say they have is their insanely advanced technology, unlike the craftworlds that use wraithbone and other psychic crap they rely heavily on devestatingly powerful weapons. I'd say they honestly are probably the most advanced aside from the Necrons. 5/5 They are my absolute favorite 40k faction as well as my first army.

The Dark Eldar are the last word in weird, supremely sadistic pain-vampires. Basically, Commoragh is where Pinhead from Hellraiser goes when he wants a really wild night out. And given the strange abilities of the Haemunculi Covens, even death is no reprieve, since they can bio-alchemically resurrect the dead to torture them all over again.

the Dark Eldar's greatest flaw is there vulnerability to kink shaming especially via cyclone torpedos.

The Dark Eldar are indeed terrifying for the individual human but the flaws you listed prevent them from being a true existential threat to mankind. It is difficult to say the least to accomplish much more than raids much less massive conquest when one has to be on guard for nearly every other Dark Eldar.

Thanks for this video, sorry for the heat you had to endure, but now having seen all the videos on 40K i realized I pity that Reality, its a world where none will survive, the future is pretty bleak...so I shall erase it from all the continuum with yet another OP race of my own (as you all surely think they all deserve), my contribution to this deletion will be the Trascendental Purifiers, immune to all damage, immune to all psychic damage, immune to all Temporal Effects for they Master Time as well, their fighter ships are as big as worlds and their armadas the sizes of galaxies. The Purifiers are energy beings the size of a continent and their weapons can blast thousands of miles with a single shot with a particular catch, they can prevent sissy teleportations gates with a temporal displacement zone thrown at the same moment they are blasting their enemies. Their ships can fire a Teveron Cannon from another galaxy and their blast can travel instantly because magic and destroy an unsuspecting fleet from 10,000,000,000 Trillion light years away (I know its bigger than the universe) without any chance of escaping cause the bnlast is tailored in any creature's destiny as to occur. So before you read this, the entire 40K Universe will have been cleansed of all the other OC races and left a sunny paradise for Humans...no....for Squirrels to live in. Thanks
I'm not so sure the Dark Eldar forces can be called an army.
Bayonetta being a Dark Eldar witch explains a lot.

Who???
@@gregorygreenwood-nimmo4954 yay, let the tyrannids consume them!
You guys should do a poll to figure out who's the best Ben
American Ben in this episode reminded me of that "Hail Hydra" meme.
Magog and Chozo next? I recently spoke with someone who is into 40K and he claims that Samus Aran is on the level of a Primarch, so why not look at her Chozo benefactors?
The end video with all the alien races is gonna be huuge
The end of the Eldar draws near. Slaanesh hungers for the souls of all, and it is our duty...the duty of the glorious 3rd Legion to deliver them to She Who Thirsts. Let their final screams echo in the ears of the most beloved and hated Corpse-Emperor.
Whilst I really want to purge you like a heretic you are, I must admit that I agree with you about the xenos. Ah yes, xenophobia! Isn't it beautiful?
Commoragh approves of this video. we will raid you next!
I will add a few more weaknesses here:
That’s brilliant

Vorlons and Shadows from Babylon 5
Now those two have seriously hardcore powers and technology, and the Shadows are nasty critters with an extremely unpleasant philosophy about the nature of life and intelligence.
I read somewhere that even kabalite warriors are sometimes afraid of hemonculi and their creations
Then, well at the Top of the Mountain it'll turn into that Scene frm "Hannibal" when Gary Oldman aka Mason Verger cut off most of his Face. That's what Dark Eldar Witches would do
Add to that, they'll wear your face as a bra.
The Drucharii numbers get replenished if warriors of any status have deals with haemonculi to "resurrect" them after a fight. In the "Path of" series of books Archon incubus and I forget the 3rd, a group of archons attempt to overthrow Supreme Overlord Vect.... read the books to find out how it goes 😁
Ben at 13:00 "is this a pool?"
I feel like the only faction capable of being defeated in 40k is humanity. But humanity is too human to be defeated so it somehow survives.
The Dark Eldar are the weakest. The only thing that keeps them alive is the fact their city is well hidden within the Webway. Also, the Tau would easily be annihilated if the Imperium could afford to turn its attention to them, i.e. if it wasn't beset at all sides.
The only faction that can directly compete with humanity is the chaos, necrons and tyrannids,
@@kriegscommissarmccraw4205 can't the orcs? I'm not that knowledgeable on the 40k universe but it sounds as though the orcs can compete with their absurd growth rate, witchcraft technology and what not?
@@RetractedandRedacted
The orks could be a serious threat to the Galaxy if they would unite. However they just love killing each other and can't go on without fighting every five seconds. Sometimes some orks join together for a waaagh and they become formidable foes, but they achieve this by one warboss going around and killing other warbosses. And if you kill the warboss the entire waaagh goes back to killing each other. Plus sometimes the orks rebel against the warboss because they think he's weak, and they start killing each other.
Not turning on the AC sounds like a severe health and safety violation (or maybe that is just the way we Texans think). I would be looking into legal options personally.
Do the elders and dark elders hate each other, do they go to war frequently
they have "disagreements" on philosophy. They are the same people but the craftworld see them as doomed, fallen brothers who have damned themselves, where as the dark eldar view themselves as the only true remenant of the Aeldari empire. They have worked together several times, but they both will backstab the other without hesitation. Also, the craftworld eldar get pissy about Incubus initiates hunting down and murdering their aspect warriors to then drain the soul out of the soulstone and use it to make their klaives.
both to their own benefits for when it suits them, all of them are Eldar and because their population is low every eldar life is important but eldar souls are also the most valuable because they're immortal so another eldari soul provides the most sustenance of any other race. They'll often team up for the sake of a common threat or agreement but the Dark Eldar won't think twice about raiding a bunch of Eldar space ships, either for it's technology, the ships themselves, access to wraithbone and/or enslaving the crew
So there are in alliance ?
6:33 to be fair. So would most other people.

666th like.
On one hand, it's the chapter number of the Grey Knights
On the other hand, the Grey Knights don't like anyone knowing about their existence
Imagine that you are an Imperial Guard or even a spaceman and a Astartes right?! Well you get invaded by the Dark Eldar you guys already know where this is going so the Dark Eldar they're just
basically a bunch of tall pointy gothic emo space elves that's what they are okay that's literally what they've been based off of. Games Workshop used to walk around like screamo bands and they're like you know
what we're gonna make you into Warhammer 40k and we're gonna call you the Dark Eldar, so essentially these guys just love torture they don't really fight wars too much when it comes to like
"hey I just want to kill my enemy", They normally do it for spoils they're more like pirates so when they raid planets they'll kill the resistance but then they they capture as many people as they can they bring it back to their
homeworld and it's just a gigantic slave trade and torture routine that they just love so these people have very advanced technology and they know exactly what they're doing when it comes to pumping
you full of drugs so imagine this in your mind okay, you're a tough Imperial Guardsman and you know some some Dark Eldar comes down he slaps you in the
face he's just "shut the hell up" grabs a net then drags you back to his world, sells you for like two pieces of copper. I don't even know what kind of Dark Eldar VISA credits or something like you took you know Dark
Eldar reviews the card or whatever so he sells you and then this guy is like you know like "*rubbing his hands* this was gonna be fun..." Straps you down to a table pumps you full of drugs so that way even if he
like pokes you in the finger you're like ah shit you know you like the worst pain you've ever felt just by poking you in the finger because now you're your nervous system is like on fire with this drug that he pumped you full of and now
he just brings out like this giant mallet and just starts smashing your feet and turning it and turning your damn feet into like applesauce k? And then all of a sudden you guys you're screaming I you know like an in terrible
pain he's getting off on this shit and that's what Dark Eldar are okay like they literally there's like a psychic backlash that they feed off of when it comes to your pain and so they they relish in it essentially he's standing
on top of the table bashing your feet into applesauce well like jacking off on you like it's as stupid as it sounds like that's I would can't it sounds funny but can any of it can anybody here truly argue that it wouldn't happen
and then like the Dark Eldar universe of course it can happen, he's jacking off onto your forehead while smashing your feet into apple sauce what a shitty fate then he has a technology to probably like saw you saw your leg off at the
knee like "okay I'll just regrow you a new limb and smash that one tomorrow.." anything that you can think about when it comes to RAPE. I'm not even joking when it comes to like rape and shit like don't
do anything that they can to torture you to death both psychologically and obviously physically as well it's terrible terrible terrible fate. They have, I'm pretty sure they'll pump you full of drugs as long as you keep
screaming in pain they will extend your life as long as they can so I don't know if there's something if there's someone out there that's lived to be like a hundred years old as a slave has just
been tortured for a hundred years straight. Trust me as long as you feed them that the pain that they want there they're gonna keep you alive as long as they possibly can if they can extend your life to a thousand years they'd
probably do it now just sit there and like every single day.

Druhkari are not demonic, they actively seek to avoid much contact with the warp going so far as to even outlaw the Eldar's potent psychic powers.
