This looks so interesting Kristi!😍 Do you feel like it's on the right track for being fudge? How would this be as a different component, like a frosting on a cake? This looks so intriguing to think of other ways to use this.🤔 By using cottage cheese, you're changing the dynamic of it and it could be a nice addition to something else.😋 I'm looking forward to trying this and experimenting with the possibilities of ways to use it!😘 I would love to see more of the recipes you're finding. I often find recipes and save them but I don't try as many as I would like to. It would be great to see what you have found!😚 I'll be thinking about this fudge all day and of how many things I could pair with it! ☺️🍩 Thanks for sharing another great recipe!🥰
I think it could be fudge if you added more melted chocolate. But I thought the consistency was more like pudding and it tasted really good. I’m not sure you could use it as a frosting but who knows it might work. Thanks Vickie!
Oh my goodness… This definitely caught my eye! I’ve also heard of Velveeta Fedge. The girl who tried it said it actually was delicious. So strange… Have you heard of that?
a little bit of corn starch would go a long way for for firming that up ... experiment ... try just a teaspoon at first and then move it up or down from there
@@ChefKristiThymetoCook I just realized that corn starch sets things up when it reacts in heat. Since this never sees the oven, I think the corn starch will be a disappointment. Plus it will drag down the taste slightly. I'm thinking a couple teaspoons of dark/dutch cocoa powder will help set it up better.
Bet if you didn’t add the extra liquid of the vanilla and the syrup, it would set up a whole lot better. I have found it’s impossible to determine the success of a new recipe if you don’t follow the instructions and modify it to make it something it wasn’t supposed to be. I say do whatever you want and experiment as much as you desire. However, giving a review on someone else’s recipe you changed probably isn’t very legit. To each their own but I have found making it exactly as the recipe is written I can determine if it’s a success as is, or if I think I can improve it by adding my spin to it, I’ll try it again with my changes. But hey, there are no rules. You do you.
Definitely going to try this. Thank you so much for the wonderful videos.
Yes! More reviews…love this idea!!❤❤
There are so many cottage cheese recipes that sound interesting. I might try making another one. Thanks Linda!
The fudge pop idea sounds perfect- I might try that! I definitely like the idea of new recipe reviews like this. Thanks!🙂
Thanks so much! 😊
Interesting. I love to experiment with recipes.
Yes it was very interesting! Thanks Kathy!
So, it's a great recipe for fudge pops!
Yes it would make great fudge pops! 😊
Try using Stevia as a sweetener.
This looks so interesting Kristi!😍

Yes I have heard of Velveeta Fudge. I think my sister made it once. 😊
I’m going to try without the vanilla and syrup.
Try straining your cottage cheese first. You'd be surprised at how much liquid it has. Looks like it'll be delicious

I might have to try that next time. Thanks so much!

Can diabetics eat this?

Use powdered vanilla instead of liquid. It’s expensive but so worth it.
I think adding the extra liquids made it soggy
You should not have put the syrup or vanilla.
