I can't figure out how you do that bare fist lift. I've equipped what you said to equip but when I jump and heavy attack (triangle) I just come smashing back into the ground. I've changed my weapons around, even used bare fists on all of the slots, and still can't get lifted up high like you do. What am I doing wrong?
because of you i try to beat the game at very hard ( even its my first run) i Need 5hours for the Prolog ; and you did great! I always enjoy your vids :) hope for more stuff
Hi, as I stated in the video I use a completely custom button scheme which makes it difficult to say "oh just press circle, triangle, etc..." Because my light attack is R1, heavy is R2, dodge is circle, so it's hard to say exactly what buttons to press (for example, I'm sure your R2 is dodge like the default setting)... If you want to reply in a comment with what your button scheme is, I can try to guide you button by button, but I'm not entirely familiar with the default button scheme. Sorry if I'm not very helpful here!
@@Rynide wow... How could you do that to your button... I think default is ok for me.. how could you mess that button up.. 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you very much for your help. I want to get Stick in the forest. And my PC is potato, that make me so hard to stay on pillar because lag. I need this high jump very much. 🥺 I use x-controller. A(X) - Jump X(⬜) - Light Y(∆) - Heavy Rb(R1) - Shoot Rt(R2) - Dodge
@@Aszksbdje Obviously no idea if this is the case, but it sounds like he plays Dark Souls/Bloodborne. That’s how From Software does their default bindings, so rather than learning a whole new button scheme, he just changed it to what’s familiar since the fundamental mechanics are the same. R1: light attack R2: heavy O: dash or roll depending on which game.
@@bdgrey oh... I see... I never do that, so almost in every game I should learn that button over and over again... I think I should copy this method, Learn only one scheme and custom other game on that buttom scheme I already remember. Thank You for this advice 😁😁😁👍👍👍
Hey, thank you very very much for this Tutorial :D Now my next playthrough will be much more fun ^^ Just a thing on the side, what is your favorite weapon in Nier Automata?
I don’t get very high off the ground when I do it , I’ve equipped the weapons in the slots you said

You need to hit heavy attack pretty quickly after jumping. If you're trying to do a DOUBLE barefist lift, you need to lift off of a slanted surface.
Yeah I figured out you have to hit Heavy Attack IMMEDIATELY after jumping like as fast as you can. Thanks for responding though, appreciate it!

Just a thing on the side, what is your favorite weapon in Nier Automata?
I think my favorite weapon would probably be Virtuous Dignity or the Type-4O Blade. I really like both of those weapons a lot.
@@Rynide i mean, i prefer Type 40 Lance but hey, everyone have different likes, and i LOVE Type 40 Blade too!
i still to this day can't do self distruct xD glad u back tho
Does this works on game of the yohra edition ?
The mechanics should fundamentally be the same. As far as I know it should work, but I don't have game of the yorha edition so I cannot say for sure.
