Great video Jay-almost wish I was allowed back to the office just to fidget with knives in a conference room (HR would probably be involved). Para 3 is one of my favorites!
After collecting a few dozen knives from Benchmade, Civivi, Ferrum Forge, Off Grid knives, Kubey, CRKT, Defcon, Ganzo, etc., I would have to say the best action/fidget factor is hands down my Honey Badger...one of the cheapest. That thing just flies open and drops shut like a guillotine, with no blade play whatsoever. Thanks for the video! :)
What’s up, Jay? I found a dozen in my collection. Here they are: 12) Civivi Shard 11) Civivi Elementum 10) CJRB Small Feldspar 9) Fox Vox Core/Baby Core 8) QSP Penguin 7) Artisan Mini Proponent 6) Kizer Mini Sheepdog 5) Kizer Dukes 4) WE Banter 3) Spyderco Para3 2) Benchmade Mini Griptilian 1) Tangram Vector
I nominate the Ganzo F727S. At just $23, it's a great bargain. 3 inch blade, G-Lock, bearings plus great looks and function. My current EDC and loving it.
There has to be a front flipper on my list - the Civivi McKenna is a good choice but may be too small for some. I'm also really excited for the Orion Solaris!
Very well done. Good review well more like quick descriptions. I liked some of them just wish they made larger versions of some that I don't have larger version of. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely favorite small forget knife i still carry every day is my cjrb maileah. I hear sponge complain Abbott it but i just simply dropped a little lube and turned back that pivot screw a hair and its crazy droppy. Also the fact it's front flipper, you can do the over the top, from the side, itseasy to spidey flick, and if course regular thumb flick makes it my number one!
The Junges is my favorite on this list, bar none. That being said, small knives really are not my thing. Great video, none the less, and may you enjoy your weekend, sir.
You mentioned the Benchmade North Fork as an alternate. I agree and it is one of the most over looked knives around. Blade shape very similar to the Super Freek and frequently in the $60-70 range on the used (barely) market. That's a steal for ANY Benchmade. I paid $58 for mine and it wasn't until I went to sharpen it that I noticed the slight recurve. I suspect that in 5 or 6 sharpenings I'll have removed the recurve. Either way, it doesn't bother me and its a great knife.
Another great video, Jay. The density of information and commentary you provide is rarely matched by the channels I view that are similar to yours. You're always an enjoyable and informative watch, and you caused me to add the Allman to my wish list.
Cutjack Mini, James Brand Carter, Feldspar, QSP Penguin, Kershaw Spline, Kershaw Blur, Elementum. Honorable mention, my son's Dragonfly 2 is fun. I want a Para 3 or a Sage 5 so bad though.
Thanks for the list, it's definitely a good one!! Plus the Hogue Ritter demo gave me a good laugh. I enjoy your attitude and really hope your channel provides you with fulfillment.
You're a pleasure to watch, Jay, and I was very pleased to see the Hogue Ritter top your list as I have one myself. I just got the WE Banter and look forward to seeing it on your channel soon!
Finally got my mini RSK last week after about 3 months of waiting! (19 days in shipping was torture!) but MAN what a great knife! It hasn't left my pocket yet! Longest I've waited for a knife, but sooooo worth the wait! Great in hand even for my larger hands and that sontewash... yeah baby! Great video as always!
Really dig that scale Jay. I haven't seen a link to it in your descriptions. Have to see if you have a review of it somewhere in your vid collection. Terminus, Mini Crooked River, Mini Freek, Northfork, Mini Griptilian, and Mini Ritter are my faves in this one. So many to Love in this video. I too, hope Spyderco does more dedicated Lefty knives, included that Para 3. I don't have a large collection, but a favorite fidget knife I do have is a medium Honey Badger D2, which has the flipper, hole, and drop shutty action. Thanks for the upload Bubba. Be safe.
They put the Benchmade Bugout in the custom shop. I see an M4 Bugout in my future. I love the Atom Para 3, and Bugout for small knived. I will be getting a Hogue Mini Ritter.
Finally got a Malibu, and then I installed Skiff bearings in it, and my goodness is it just fun. I'm going to break the thing because I can't stop playing with it.
Nice list. I like that you discuss the cons for your favorites here. A few of them are deal-breakers, like thick stock or overpriced 8Cr13Mov. Blade stock is a big part of why the Gent got bumped from my EDC rotation in favor of the S35VN Elementum. It's even thinner than the regular Elementum!
I guess my Para 3, although to be honest, I never carry it, or any of my 3" or less blades. I use my Rat 2 for caving but other than that, they sit in a case looking pretty, but never get used. I'm just not a short blade fan. I could include the Gemini, because mine is the damasteel version which is 2.9" blade, but again..I think I carried it once on Christmas day, that's it, lol. I don't know why I even buy them. I do throw a traditional in the pocket sometimes though, but they really aren't very fidget friendly.
Great list as usual Jay. I do own several of the ones you mention and they are indeed great fidget knives/toys. Of course, anything with an Axis type lock is going to qualify here. A couple I would add are the the Honey Badger and the Kizer Mini Sheepdog. Thinking seriously about having my Mini Sheepdog turned into a Mini SpydieDog by having it modded with a Spydie (opening) hole.
Love this kind of video from you Jay. The new camera is very cool. The WESN looks interesting and I can't wait to see your review of it. Thanks for your hard work, I'm sorry I can't give you a list of fav small knives. I do own a crkt drifter, it's one of my first non slipjoints ever. But it's too small to fidget with.
Best by far is a little Sanrenmu that has the axis lock and aluminium scales. Also the Real Steel Griffin- perhaps a bit too long a blade for your list.
Great vids. Didnt see all your vids yet, but ever heard of the brand QSP? The Parrot is awesome for the price of €21,00! Tangram is also a great budget brand, its the budget serie of Kizer. Greetings from The Netherlands!
i have the bt fighter. i also love hogue knives they are awesome. thats funny cuz i was just looking for that ritter on blade hq today and was confused why i couldnt find it.
Yeah, that Ritter is a good value, but as you found out, only available through KnifeWorks. If you're able to get your hands on one, it's worth it. Thanks Tyler.
Love all your videos and knives but don’t care for flippers or even fidget knives. I have about 10 BM’s left. I never keep the pivot so the blade is all sloppy loose. For me, the perfect setting is when it closes slow and blade gets sucked into handle. A couple don’t totally drop shut and I’m fine with that. I think the Sage 1 was the best Sage. Spyderco does great liner locks. Like you, drop points are my favorite but I like clip points. MT Socom Elites (manuals) are a favorite. That Kizer really had a steep drop I didn’t like either. The mini Kizer Begletier and Domin are great knives.
Thanks Thomas! I know what you mean about that slow drop, very nice to have. I don't necessarily need every one of mine to drop, but it does make things more fun.
Hey Jay, another great video! Loving the second camera! Have you ever checked out any twosun knives? The are pretty decently priced and have crazy good action in my opinion
We don't need no stinkin' left handed Para 3 Jay...lol Honestly, I prefer the "right handed" version, with my left hand. Recently got myself a Para 3 AND a Sage 5...lol Go figure.
My favorite three small fidgety knives.. Gent for sure..Kizer Gemini in any of it's various incarnations, and the Kershaw Atmos, which is a underated knife in my opinion. But man that is one ugly clip point on the Kizer...🤮
Great video Jay-almost wish I was allowed back to the office just to fidget with knives in a conference room (HR would probably be involved). Para 3 is one of my favorites!
Lol! I know exactly what you mean Vincent. Para 3 is such a great fidget knife. Thanks for watching.
Excellent production, Jay.
I can tell that a lot went into this one, it did not go unnoticed by this (lefty) knife collector guy.
As a german it's kind of funny seeing companys like kizer use german names. Good list Jay!
who does not like a fidggety knive. great selection Jay. love it.
Man that all man and that kizer really stole the show with those two new blade shapes. I love them! Thanks for sharing jay
What’s up, Jay? I found a dozen in my collection. Here they are:
12) Civivi Shard
11) Civivi Elementum
10) CJRB Small Feldspar
9) Fox Vox Core/Baby Core
8) QSP Penguin
7) Artisan Mini Proponent
6) Kizer Mini Sheepdog
5) Kizer Dukes
4) WE Banter
3) Spyderco Para3
2) Benchmade Mini Griptilian
1) Tangram Vector
Absolutely love your #1 and #2 picks. I picked these up recently and cannot stop fidgeting them!!!
That Gent Select is gorgeous!
Fantastic top 10 Jay!!!! Keep those videos coming!!!
I went to Norway about 6 years ago. Trondheim to be exact. Beautiful city but very expensive!!
Nice selection. I LOVE that Gent Select.
Amazing video. I'm definitely looking forward to adding the Doug Ritter to my collection even moreso now. Thanks !
Fav fidget knives are Real Steel Griffon and Tangrim Vector......thanks for the video Jay!
I nominate the Ganzo F727S. At just $23, it's a great bargain. 3 inch blade, G-Lock, bearings plus great looks and function. My current EDC and loving it.
The only one I have that would qualify is the Kubey 203. After I broke it in and put a little TLC into it, it became one of my all time favorite.
I like that Kizer Junges. Thank for introducing me.
There has to be a front flipper on my list - the Civivi McKenna is a good choice but may be too small for some. I'm also really excited for the Orion Solaris!
Hi Jay Thanks for great line up! Especially the Wesn it was new to me and I like the unique blade shape. Cheers!
Love your videos! You have made me interested in knives.
Best regards from Sweden
Another nice video and selection, awesome.
Hogue mini grip, numero uno, mos def, nolo contendre
Great video my friend. You're becoming quite the editor.
Very well done. Good review well more like quick descriptions. I liked some of them just wish they made larger versions of some that I don't have larger version of. Thanks for sharing.
You bet Rick.
Absolutely favorite small forget knife i still carry every day is my cjrb maileah. Hey Jay! I like the knife cam. Great video as usual.
Great list Jay.. thanks for sharing.. i love my sage 5. Probably my favorite fidget knife !!
I don't dig small blades but i do dig fidgeting so I may have to check one of these knives out.
Nice list, thanks!
First time that I don't own any of the knives on the list, so I've got some work to do, lol
A lefty-para 3 would be awesome!
You mentioned the Benchmade North Fork as an alternate. I agree and it is one of the most over looked knives around. Great video man!
Cutjack Mini, James Brand Carter, Feldspar, QSP Penguin, Kershaw Spline, Kershaw Blur, Elementum. Honorable mention, my son's Dragonfly 2 is fun. I want a Para 3 or a Sage 5 so bad though.
Nice choices!
How is the James brand knives. Love the looks of em but never been able to get a hold of one and take it for a test flick
Nice list! My own Para 3 should be coming in this morning. So that wil be some fidgeting this weekend i guess 😁
May favorite knives to play with are by boker kalashnokovs, my cold steel finn wolf, my tanto microtech and my houge compound.
Like the fidget knifes review thxs
Great vid Jay! That double camera editing really starts paying off!
I really love the Tangram vector as a small Fidget knife
Really dig that scale Jay.
I haven't seen a link to it in your descriptions.
Have to see if you have a review of it somewhere in your vid collection.
Terminus, Mini Crooked River, Mini Freek, Northfork, Mini Griptilian, and Mini Ritter are my faves in this one.

Be safe.
The WE Banter is a lovely fidget friendly knife. 🤟🏻
Great video
Wow I need to get a WESN. That looks awesome. The rest are all wonderful but that thing seems cool.
i really love the mini bugout...would love to hear your opinion: mini bullmastiff vs mini cheep bog.
Mini sheep dog?
They put the Benchmade Bugout in the custom shop. I see an M4 Bugout in my future. I love the Atom Para 3, and Bugout for small knived. I will be getting a Hogue Mini Ritter.
Awesome list as always Jay!! Two of my favorites have to be the Bugout and the MBK EWC!!!
Buck marksmen is a fun fidget knife too
Thanks Jay...good bunch of knives. I don’t have any of them...damn. Ok, Civivi Elementum. Bestech Engine,. I’ll think of some more later...lol.
I also just got a WE Banter and it’s super nice!
Great list Jay! This is the first time I'm seeing the WESN in any video, very unique blade 👍
Finally got a Malibu, and then I installed Skiff bearings in it, and my goodness is it just fun. I'm going to break the thing because I can't stop playing with it.
A great fidget knife you should try is the Monterey Bay Knives EWC with its non-locking, double detent. Great list, J.
Great review as always..I’m more of a large knife guy..maybe I’m trying to Compensate for something..but let’s keep that between you and me..
Nice job... gotta look into that Kizer

I might add the Hogue Deka and the Civivi Elementum. Great Vid!
Kizer vanguard mini sheepdog is a great small form factor fidget knife at a reasonable price
Thanks for the great top 10 list. I thought the para 3 is ambidextrous. Well At least mine is. I have the para3 maxamet.
Oh Nevermind you’re talking about the compression lock.
Para 3, mini grip, yojimbo 2,protecth tr 2.3, and the smock. The rest of my knives I'd say are mid size
My XL hands preclude me from the topic but I do have a Ganzo FB765 that's close at 3.2 inches and the smallest fidget friendly one I own.
I love my Para 3, but its g-10 scales are like sandpaper and hard on the pocket.
Man I want to try the wren that thing looks so nice!
Anthony Reeder It is a nice size beefy knife! I’ve had one for several month’s.
Damon Griffin that’s what I like about it haha. I am a big fan of the crkt Pilar I just hate 8cr13mov.
I have the d2 version and it's far better than the pilarge
MeWithKnives I agree!
Best by far is a little Sanrenmu that has the axis lock and aluminium scales. Also the Real Steel Griffin- perhaps a bit too long a blade for your list.
Great review brother. P.S, What's up with your right arm/ hand?
And Jay have you seen the CJRB Ria? I got the micarta one. No lefty pocket clip.
What?! No honorable mentions. Ha ha JK. Always enjoy your vids. I've seen a video of Two Sun I think it's ts199 that I can't get outta my head.
Great vids. Didnt see all your vids yet, but ever heard of the brand QSP? The Parrot is awesome for the price of €21,00! Tangram is also a great budget brand, its the budget serie of Kizer. Greetings from The Netherlands!
You're right Pascal, both great budget brands. Thank you!
Great video, Jay. I am also praying for a lefty para 3!
Spyderco Chicago after you play w the pivot screw and add a bit o' oil!
i have the bt fighter. i also love hogue knives they are awesome. thats funny cuz i was just looking for that ritter on blade hq today and was confused why i couldnt find it.

Hey Jay, another great video! Loving the second camera! Have you ever checked out any twosun knives? The are pretty decently priced and have crazy good action in my opinion
I believe Jay that you can get the Ritter right from Houge?
Mini-Freak for me
No "Bugout" love? That's one of my favorites to be sure
i'm a lefty so most i've my blades are for righties because i don't see that they sell a lot of knives for lefties.
Crkt pilar
Mini sheepdog
Boker mini strike
3:40 Yet another hidden gem found on this channel. Just look at it, its so beautiful!
We don't need no stinkin' left handed Para 3 Jay...lol Honestly, I prefer the "right handed" version, with my left hand. Recently got myself a Para 3 AND a Sage 5...lol Go figure.
Great vid, I’m currently looking for a knife for my gf. I was wondering if you have any recommendations for lighter self defense knife?
a "blood grove" never thought of that one.
I really want to get my hands on a Hogue RSK MK1 g2
Jay, did u do the winner for the last giveaway?
Have you made a video for leties?
Mini Freak or the Hogue now there's a Battle to the Death
Ruike p801
Nice content. These knives arent all that small tho.
HOGUE DEKA
My favorite three small fidgety knives.. Gent for sure..Kizer Gemini in any of it's various incarnations, and the Kershaw Atmos, which is a underated knife in my opinion. But man that is one ugly clip point on the Kizer...🤮
👍🍻
👍🍻🇺🇸
Don’t really have any small fidget knives. Mine are more on the larger side. Compensating! That’s a rude assumption sir!
your posture is going to hurt your back
