Its Friday morning and I am at my favorite Goodwill right as they are opening. Today I thought it would be fun to challenge myself to find at least two items that are green tag and 50% off. Can I do it? I have my Thrifting Vegas Blanket and my reuseable shopping bags and as I walk the aisles the treasures just kep flowing off the shelves and into my cart! I have no problem selling heavy, I use UPS/Fed Ex often, what bugs me are the new up charges for over 18" that USPS has imposed. It adds at least $7 to postage! If you sell posters (I have several to sell) this can really shut down a big chunk of your business. I've been trying to make sure everything will fit in at most a 16x16x16 box. Definitely a surcharge that didn't have to be added, I swear they are pricing themselves out of business.

The apartment complex I used to live in, we had a white tree and we decorated it each month with whatever decorations were for that month. It was nice.
Tiffany , thank you ! I found a Nordic ware Autumn wreath bake pan at goodwill this morning. Still in the original package for $2.99 ! Its beautiful and i have decided to keep it but thanks to you i know its a good brand.

I used to take a large branch or two, spray paint them black, put them in a pot and decorate them. ( IM TOO OLD AND NO CHILDREN AROUND ANYMORE)

Maybe 7 yrs ago i purchased a witch on clearance. She's 5 1/2 feet tall. The skirt is black branches. The wire frame sits on top. She has a cape, hat and broom. Fun to display each Halloween.

I use to do a Halloween tree that doubled as a Harley Davidson Tree When My Last Boyfriend And I Were Together . Things Show Up Much More On The Orange , I Had One Of The Little Battery Powered Pigs Thant Walks Tail Wiggles And Oinks ! Have Him AHarley Collar And Ldash On And A Little Harley Leather Hat , Absolutely Adorable !

I love the big cross with the slag glass inserts, I’ve been looking for various cross designs that I can put outdoors like a gallery wall in my yard.
WOW! @28:00 watch until 30:00 mark in-between those minutes you will walk by the lamps and you go to quick! There was a white metal mid century modern tripod lamp that was B E A UTIFUL. I would have snagged that and sold it for a good price. New they go for $150. You could possibly get more if it had a twin.

13:22 I found one of those exact tortoiseshell jars at a shop whose prices ranged from garage sale to antique store. I think I paid one or two dollars. It has a ding on the inner lip, but it almost seems like a manufacturing defect vs a chip
I bought the Sorroco seagulls in 70's when they were new. My husband loves them in his home office with oil painting we brought shortly after of a sailing ship. It would be interesting to know what they're worth today.
I’m always amazed at your knowledge! How would you know Carr China?! I just moved from Grafton, WV where I lived on the Tygart River just a couple of miles from the old site of the Carr China factory and the Dam. That plate had a long trip from WV to Las Vegas!
That's for sure, I'm in Central WV and was just amazed at that plate and how far it had traveled from it's original home!!!..... great find!
How far is this from Hollywood West Virginia? I live in Missouri, but that’s where all my family originated from. I’ve never been out there to visit but it’s on my bucket list to go and visit where my family come from.

Tiffany, the poms are ripe when they turn a bright pinkish/redish color. At least how it is here in Alabama in the Autumn. When you crack the pomegranate open, will have bright red, pink seeds.
The basket weave pot can be fixed by boiling the crack in milk. I've fixed a couple of items this way. On one the crack disappeared and on the other the crack was visible but was no longer loose

I have a black Halloween tree with spider webs and ornaments. I then have a green tree I decorate with fall themed items like leaves acorns squirrels birds and small cornucopia. I love fall. It's my time of year. My husband supports my obsession. Lol!

Grafton is just 30 min from me...and where a lot of my family is from...WV IS BEAUTIFUL.
I use a small tree in my kitchen all year long...and decorate with each holiday...or just kitchen items.... cookie cutters..etc

Prices are better at your Goodwill than at the Durango store. Sometimes you find things there that are priced retail or near retail. Not too many baargains. I don't do Halloween.

I have a tree that I put up for fall and that way I can go from hanging Halloween ornaments on it to hanging pumpkins and things for Thanksgiving on it but it works really great for Halloween and what I do is I just add a couple of black pieces off of a cheap little dollar tree black tree to my fall one that has some fall leaves and also some reddish and orange pine sprigs that I painted it works really great and people really seem to love it

I use my Christmas tree, but cover it with orange tinsel garland so very little greenery shows. I also use pumpkins with flowal picks along with garland. It really is fun. I can remove the Halloween ornaments after Halloween and use the tree until time for Christmas. I've toyed with the idea of using colored rafia or just straw colored rafia instead of tinsel garland.😊

My Halloween tree is a large branch cut from a tree and painted black. I put it on a wooden stand. It looks spooky and not at all like a Christmas tree
