Perfect video for me. I am thinking of digging up my old wisteria and was debating whether to do it in late Autumn or Late Winter? I hear that you can remove a lot of the roots as well - what is your view on this? Cheers

Hi Xavier, youtube never shown me this comment, so sorry for late reply. I collect deciduous trees and also wisterias when the buds swell in spring. As you can see in my other, more recent video about my big wisteria, it had just very few roots for such a large tree. So my advice based on my experience is collect in spring and don´t worry too much if it has only few roots. But obviously try to collect as many as possible. My wisteria grew by the concrete fence and there was no way i could dig up more of the roots. But thankfully, these beauties grow like weed. Good luck on your wisteria collection, I will watch the progress I am sure :)
