Beautiful, great carving & styling.
Otherworldly beautiful trees, thanks for sharing.
Awesome looking tree. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
That was funny. Great job
Great job on the video. I appreciate you doing the video in English. Thank you
Thanx mate. :) On the other hand I get some slack from my fellow slovakians for not doing it in slovakian. :D Although I go through the pains of writing down subtitles for them for every video.
@@mimokristof-penjingheaven I get it. There is just a broader audience for English. I am and American and I speak to some degree 5 languages but because English is so common when I speak in another language most of the time the other person responds in English because they want to practice their English and because it is easier. You just have some much more opportunity to grow producing in English.
👍 for the intro alone!
Mimo what do you do for work? I'm not sure I can imagine you working in an office 😂
I actually kind of do - I have my small ofiice/laboratrory in an automotive company where I work full time as Calibration and ESD engineer. Although I have no engineering title :D
@@mimokristof-penjingheaven it would be awesome to work with you in the office ha
@@AlexBraunton well, maybe until the first fart. :D
Great channel and your little assistants are very cute.
so cool
SUPER VIDEO. REGARDS
Brilliant video and very funny Mimo! That old orchard looks great. Can you get some grow beds there? You've done well on this tree and I can't believe how shallow the pot is.
Thanx Alex. That place is a bit far out so to grow something and take care of it wouldn´t be very convenient. I think I haven´t been there since spring. And haven´t collected tree from there for couple of years now, I have too many pines, I need to sell some of them to be able to spend some more time with other trees too.
I love your videos so much☺
Thanx man, glad to read that and to see the effort is worth it :)
i know this is 4 hours old, but damn this makes me happy! bonsai and metal is my jam and i am happy to see somebody post videos embracing it \m/

love it. also love seeing how it started and a few of its different versions along the way to this. really helps to learn how to look at a tree in the earliest stages and develop a vision for it. thank you for sharing!
Absolutely quality information and quality trees. You deserve a lot more view for sure. I just stumbled across your channel recently. Hopefully many more people will.
Thanx a lot :) Glad you liked it. I just started to make videos again recently so hopefully the channel will grow with time :)
@@mimokristof-penjingheaven Maybe that's why I just got recommended your videos. I think I had seen some of your videos a few years back. The face and the humour seemed familiar. :D
I'd say definitely use the front on the last tree where the cut is visible. It has more interesting nebari from that side, better lines in the trunk, plus the cut could become, as you said, an interesting feature.

I don't mind the rounded shoulder bend on the lower branch - rules shmules
Great wisdom 😂😂😂
I discovered your channel today and watched through most of your video now, and i gotta say, the visual quality and the quakity of your trees is one of the best ive seen here. I hope your channel grows a lot and we get plenty more videos! I like your sense of humor also. Cheers from Germany
Hi and thanx for kind words. :) I am planning few more videos this year so we´ll see how it goes :)
With great wisdom, comes great responsibility. 🙏
Perfect video for me. I am thinking of digging up my old wisteria and was debating whether to do it in late Autumn or Late Winter? I hear that you can remove a lot of the roots as well - what is your view on this? Cheers
Really interesting because I have a scots pine just like this in terms of the lower branch and how it departs from the trunk. It is going to feature on my channel in another week I think. Very challenging trying to deal with those rounded shoulder bends :)
Cutting a smal notch out of underside to allow for a sharper bend might be the solution, but is slightly risky. Maybe try that next year at the start of the growing season?
That is really interesting and great advice on shop purchased Chinese Elm. More poeple are put off bonsai by these mostly 'dead tree' purchases. They come home and blame themselves when their new bonsai inevitably dies. I spend a lot of time convincing people it was not really their fault...then sell them one of my trees :)
That had to be one of the most unexpected and funnies takes on Bonsai Mudmen and those who take this art 'far too seriously'. Love it :)
Thank you, glad you liked it. :) We need to bring some fun into this serious hobby :D
@@mimokristof-penjingheaven That is definitely how I approach it in my videos. Life is far too serious to have your hobby become that way as well.
Dá se tento druh javoru použít na lesík? Aby to šlo ukočírovat, taková věc. 🤔
This is a cool tree Mimo. Who is the satan of Facebook? Nice introduction to the tree and it's history
Thanx. Satan is Milan Karpišek, bonsai artist who works in Bonsai center Heidelberg. Very skillful and talented guitar builder as well. Check out his guitars at MK Kustom guitars. :)
😆 True true. It is important to do things. However, it is huge motivation, when I see your trees in the videos or pictures. I also want to create such impressive pieces. Anyway it takes long time to learn it, because you can try only one technique per year (in general). 🤔 The solution actually is to get more trees. This year I will try some autumn picking, because in spring there is shorter period. These are going to be small seedlings, so there should be no problem. I will see. I will learn.
Thank you and good luck :)
I love the bonsai you create. Thanks for sharing
Thanx for watching :)
So pretty
What a find. Excellent work, and good tunes to go with it.
Fantastico 😊😊😊😊😊
Great video!
Very impressive.always better in the larger sizes.
:) Ja toho mám momentálne veľmi veľa a nekopem nič nové už dva roky.
Wow some great material there to work on. Great video to 👏
Árbol espectacular, buen trabajo 👏👏
Nice balls u got there
Thank you, glad you like them :)
Akurát si idem splniť detský sen. Vykopal som 6 malých hlohov a chcem z nich spraviť takú lesnú krajinu. Teraz sú ponorené v zakoreňovači. Myslíš že to má zmysel?
Všetko má zmysel, minimálne sa niečo nové naučíš. :)
@@mimokristof-penjingheaven len by som si prial aby to prežili.
Hi, I like your videos, do you think there is any advantage to pruning at the end of winter before buds swell? I see many people, like you, prune after the buds have swollen. Will be nice to hear your opinion on this👌
Thanx, glad you like them. For me the advantages of pruning when the buds are swelling are: - Old leaves are falling off by themselves usually by that time - You know which branches died off and cannot be counted with in their areas - In case that tree suffered some during the winter, wiring and bending branches before you know they are allright might do some more harm That is why I rather wait till I see the branches and buds clearly
@@mimokristof-penjingheaven thank you Mimo, that does make sense. I look forward to your future videos, keep it up.
