I realize the exhaust valve open at 3k rpm. But the surge of power kicks in at 3k rpm regardless of driving mode (eco mode and comfort mode keeps the exhaust valve closed the entire time) It feels like the change of cam profile or intake manifold valve opening at 3k rpm. @@FoubaCars

Hmm I dont know...Maybe because the valves from the exhaust open up at 3000 rpm 🤔

Yep, but I think the valves of the exhaust always open up at 3 k rpm, regardless of the mode
I am not sure about the setup of your car. But my car has APR valve catback, and in eco mode and normal mode, it stays quiet the entire time.
would you still a get a manual over a dsg?
