@@de-landen885You get a dilemma to teleport to any empire province of your choice for your new base when you defeat your starting enemy, of course you give all of your Cathay territory to zhao ming when you choose that option.
I don’t mind the Balthazar change on the basis that this helps spread out where the Empire can be encountered. Kislev is my favorite faction but for the longest time they could only be encountered in Kislev itself and the Chaos wastes north of it. If there’s one good thing Shadow of Change gave us it was the ability to fight/encounter Kislev elsewhere, that being Naggarond.
@user-dx1lx6vf4n totally agree. I like seeing the different factions in other places which makes their campaigns different.
And you finally dont get trespassing penalties for protecting the other empire factions. Big W
Gelt now gives artillery buffs on his lv tree now. To be specific, splash size and damage increase for hellstorm rocket batteries :D
I wanna stack it with Elspeths defeat trait.

So cool how u can spawn armies for the AI elector counts. Now you can actually feel like the emperor supporting your vassals. CA knocked it outa the g'damn park with this DLC.
And then SUMMON THE ELECTOR COUNTS... a dozen allied armies to your location!
Curious of how long the Elector counts will last now, considering before as Franz you’re lucky if even 1 or 2 counts are left by turn 20.
Just started a campaign and I spent like 8 turns chasing beast man army that was hopping all over my province and the only Elector count left alive was Todbringer with one settlement... was turn 18 iirc.
Use casus belli to declare war on Elspeth,get her defeat trait, Doom Stack hellstorms, Profit.
You can do the same with Balthasar if you go back to the empire and might be more powerful since he also buffs Hellstorms even more. ( its in his skill line now).
Was CA hinting at Belthazar’s new starting location with the Immortal Empires trailer or was that just an artistic decision?
I have my doubts as to whether or not they were working more than a full year ahead on the Empire update. More than likely they based Gelt's update in part on fan response to the trailer.
No way they planned it that far in advance. This game was horribly mismanaged.
Now we can truly summon the Elector Counts!

@@Robert399Both of them can get the authority mechanic once they get territory on the empire. Other than that they are fine. Maybe Markus could have gotten a bit more love, but I say this is pretty much enough for an update this size for free.

so they reworked half of the empire lord; placing one somewhere in the middle of nowhere to be forgotten to market a dlc
I love playing Karl Franz and this rework made him even better! ❤
Main reason is because he is a "Emperor" of a human empire! And this rework enchance his way of controlling his empire! So it really made it where the player is feeling like you're an Emperor and controlling a vast empire which i welcome and loving this rework ❤
My only complain is learning how to properly gain imperial authority which i'm struggling to properly gain. 🫤
