I kinda guessed Piper would've been a piranha plant-type of enemy, seeing as in one of the stories about him, he LITERALLY ATE a bully that was bothering a Blue Toad! Anyways, what really surprised me, was the reason why he wanted the toads to grow that tree.... to sort of re-incarnate him, in a way! Anyways, glad to see that at least one enemy follows the trend of the first two games, where there are actually good guy versions of common mario enemies.
Could you guys please make a video showing every cutscene for the Piper side thing? Really dissapointed no one has made a complitation for this yet. Found this side story to be really touching.
Nintendo Boy Ultra Basically, a toad (referred to as Big Purp) in Port Prisma recieves a letter from his old friend Piper stating that they will meet whenever the seed that was included in the letter grows fully. As you progress through the game, getting paint stars and reviving some of the toad's other buddies (Yella,Redd, etc.), you can return to the spot every now and again where the toad planted his seed and his buddies show up one by one. This is all leading up to of course the final scene with Piper and everyone is reunited. It's really touching and you're provided with some much needed backstory on Piper creating some suspense to his arrival.
Do you guys have any plans on doing Basic/Enemy card locations and what those cards are for the Museum? I tried looking for a guide, but could not find one out there. I know it is a lot of work, but it would be greatly appreciated! Also, how do you get the Piper questline to progress? I 100% all levels of colorless spots so I got all the Toads, but they are not all there.
That's the plan, but like you said, it's going to take some time! As for the Piper side quest, I believe all the Toads have to colored in from different levels, then each one goes to the tree one by one. Maybe try leaving Port Prisma and coming back for the next one to show up? At one point you need to go to Marmalade Valley to see them getting the flower.
***** Okay, thank you very much. And from what I read if you have all colorless spots completed you may have recollect Mini Paint Stars for it to progress. I have not yet tried since I did not have the time yet.
dfutyut2 You actually need to get a certain amount of paint stars after each cutscene in order to make the next one play. For every one except the last, you need to collect 3 I believe (and these can be ones you've already collected btw) and 10 for the last one.
Though the toads' descriptions of him do actually make sense now. He has that weird "foo foo foo" laugh, he tripped, causing others to also fall in a race, he played the part of a bush really well, and he ate someone whole!
The biggest problem is having the right cards. You may sometimes know the exact answer to the question, but you may not have the right cards, forcing you to pass the question (which counts as a wrong answer). Fortunately there is a sniffit near the entrance that will give you a set of 30 cards that includes the right answers. It's 1000 coins to buy though, so make sure you have the cash to spend. If you've made it to the bonus round before, you can also buy a bonus set for 2000 coins, which gives you the cards and skips you straight to the bonus round.
What he means is those events which cause an instant game over if you don't react fast enough, for example, when Princess can crush you, The dragon thing which I can't remember the name of eats you, Huey not absorbing all the black paint on Bowser in the final boss battle.
Geo Peppe In order to progress the Piper story, you have to do a couple things. 1. Make sure you revive the purple toad's friends. 2. Make sure you collect a certain amount of paint stars in order to make the next cutscene happen. 3. Go to their hang out spot in the yellow district in Port Prisma once you've done those. You need to recollect the amount of paint stars in order to make each new cutscene happen.
@@mariopartylegacy aperrantly NO-ONE knows of the port prisma cutout, its in the yellow district, mini toad jumps against the cutout wall after he asks to be in the rescue squad.
Dang...I think the only other time the word "died" was used in a Paper Mario game was in Bobbery's backstory...

Jostin AS What is this Piper side quest everyone's talking about. What's it about?

dfutyut2 Yeah sure just keep in mind I might be wrong with those numbers, so sorry if they are. You do for sure have to collect paint stars though.
Can I have some help ?
I'm stuck on daffodil peak. And I don't know where to go next.
Pikachu gaming 3296 where are you stuck? I've beat Morton so I can probably help
Can you still get the shy guy bandit to appear after you beat the game
I want to say no, but I'm not 100% sure.
I don't know about after you beat the game, but I can confirm that he still appears after you've 100 percented the colorless spots.
Make more videos
Thank you so very much for your support
So Piper is a Ptooie?!
0_o
If that isn't strange, I don't know what is.
Though the toads' descriptions of him do actually make sense now. He has that weird "foo foo foo" laugh, he tripped, causing others to also fall in a race, he played the part of a bush really well, and he ate someone whole!

I love your videos
What's the trick to get the camera in the game?
you unfortunately have to ace sniffit or wiffit 100%.Grab a friend of yours to help you its much easier
Justin with Channel how would it be easier with a friend
well because you need to keep track of the cards.Like kelp cards you cant track all 3 cards

NinjaMaster909 where do I find the set for 2000 coins
So Um.. There Are Some Events That Causes A Game Over If Messed Up, Can You Show Dem All?
gabriel dowling as far as i know they are the boss battles (not the middle ones its the main ones), and sniffit or whiffit
What he means is those events which cause an instant game over if you don't react fast enough, for example, when Princess can crush you, The dragon thing which I can't remember the name of eats you, Huey not absorbing all the black paint on Bowser in the final boss battle.
YeeIsHere Maybe The Train Was 1 Too!
Could you somehow show us your gamePad?
Unfortunately I'd have to use a camera on the GamePad and that would make way too difficult/uncomfortable to play the game.
This may be stupid, but you could put a camera on your head and we could see what you are seeing?
Mario Party Legacy you could've just pressed SELECT
no gamepad?
No
Can u make or tell me how to do the piper thing please!!!!
Geo Peppe press y
Saskia Viking sorry I'm not sure what that means?
Geo Peppe you need to press the button y on the gamepad to activate cutout
Saskia Viking *Facepalm* He's not talking using a thing card in the overworld dude.
Geo Peppe In order to progress the Piper story, you have to do a couple things.

Where is the last cutout? In your video it only says you have 98% and I only have 98%
Edit: I found the last place I was missing!
For clarification for everyone else looking, it's at The Emerald Circus in the supply room!
