Through careful experimenting, I found the approximate HP for all of the legion.
Colored Pencils: 157 hp
Rubber Band: 100 hp
Hole Punch: 148 hp
Tape’s Dispenser: 192 hp
Tape: 350 hp
Scissors: 336 hp
Stapler: 361 hp
Also King Olly: 140 hp

So I have a theory that the legion are "things" you know, from the previous game. They obviously aren't made of paper and are extremely powerful. My theory is, the "thing" sides with whoever summoned it.

It looks like the tape dispenser has over 1000 HP, but breaking a corner takes away 25% of the total HP.

I only really like these bosses just because they're hysterical to look at and their personalities are so damn memorable

I love how each one has its own personality. Colored Pencils seems based on Dennis Hopper in "Apocalypse, Now", Rubber Band kind of reminds me of Kelsey Grammar as Sideshow Bob, Hole Punch kind of loosely based on Wolfman Jack, Tape reminds me a little bit of a mix of Fonzie from Happy Days and Rocky Balboa from the Rocky movies, Scissors is like a black knight type character, almost reminding me of old school Ganon/Ganondorf from the older Zelda games (including the composure breakdown near the end), and Stapler is based on a dog but also a chain chomp (which is also based on a dog). I could be totally off-base, but that's how I hear the voices
How do you think the first five members of the Legion, including SCISSORS... feel to be outclassed by a dog?
They get outclassed by the Stapler in terms of violence (Not by the effect shown but by the boss itself) whilst Scissors here outclasses ALMOST THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE in terms of intellegence (He was shown to have calculated the odds of Mario coming to destroy the green streamer too likely to happen & even calculated the precise time & angle to ALMOST MURDER Mario & EVEN attempted to JUKE him from the third FINAL CUT onwards!)
But in terms of health, that goes to Tape's WHOLE health bar and not just his health bar with and without his dispenser
Well there is the fact that stapler is what has been turning people into the bulk of the king’s goons.
But then you remember…practically everything is made of paper, an easily cuttable object.

Stapler works better with Origami Castle because of the Black Color scheme and its foreshadowing at the start of the game

My first time fighting these bosses I killed half of them with the thousand fold arms
I tried my best to kill all of them like that, since it gives you more coins. Actually, the only one I’m bad at killing with the arms is hole punch lol

Out of all the Legion of Stationery, my favorite has got to be the Scissors because it reminds me of Sticker Star. We actually used it on Bowser Jr.

My Humanized versions of the Legion of Stationery:
Coloured Pencils: A tall muscular man with short rainbow coloured hair, blue eyes, a moustache, black pants, boots, gloves, and a red military uniform, in the colors of his pencils, which are in a bazooka-like device.
Rubber Band: A tall, slightly muscular, bald headed man with tan skin and a pencil thin moustache, wearing a suit made entirely of rubber bands. Underneath said suit, he has yellow and white heart-patterened underwear.
Hole Punch: A fat, bearded Sikh man, with black hair, a dark brown turban, with a jewel on it resembling a old fashioned record. he wears a black leather waistcoat with no shirt underneath, loose yellow pants, and is barefoot. he also has miniatue hole punchers on his hands.
Tape: A thin lanky man dressed similarly to a old-timey film crime boss.He wields a purple motorbike with a huge tape dispenser for the front wheel.
Scissors: He's tall and thin, with white hair, and clothes that are like a ninja, and katanas syled like half of scissor blades.
Stapler: It'd be a black alligator, with staples for teeth, and a mechanism in it's mouth that acts like Stapler's mechanism.
Pretty good. But rubber band has no specific gender. Honestly, honestly, I would prefer to it as a male, but some people refer to it as female. But in reality it’s genderless.
