The month after I was born, my dad bought a Ram 1500 with a 5.7 liter hemi. Throughout the entirety of my life I heard that sound so many times. As a child, I remember the sound of the RPMs going up as my dad was leaving for work. Later that day in the evening, I distinctly remember that same sound roar into the driveway as my dad arrived home. I also remember going on loads of vacations with hearing this engine the entire time in the interstate. I remember we always did "stop and goes" in the truck. It was basically what me and my little brother called a burnout back then. There was a spot right next to my house that we used to launch off quite commonly. It wasn't a drag car, but when my dad pinned it from that ditch in that road, it felt and sounded like the fastest thing I'd ever see. This truck, this engine, it's a part of me, my life. The amount it means to me is more than I'd ever be able to explain in this writing.
I feel like we all have hemi stories. It's an American thing.
Please, keep the hemi. Keep the brotherhood alive. I want my kids to experience the same thing I did when I was young. That same undescribable feeling.

If you want the brand to continue to at least make products in the spirit of the brand, you have to be accepting of change. Otherwise they might as well close shop now.

Dodge as a brand will be fine. They know their market (young buyers) and are working to grab the real market buyers with products like the new Hornet. I'm excited to see what else they have up their sleeves in the coming months.

Between DEALER MARKUPS, 6.1% interest rates, THE RECESSION, weak credit, $1500+ per month payments and people who actually may consider: "these cars are OLD and about to be replaced", I'd say sales are going to be weak initially till ya'll offer some serious discounts.
And I'm not talking about using the rebates to offer 0% APR for an intro period.
They are going to sell every single one without issue. A lot of people are going to be left out in the cold on this one.

Yes they will sell everyone of the cars built because they will not build many just like over the last few years. I heard many orders canceled this year because of parts supplies issues.
You realize smaller dealers will buy them up to resell for massive profits.

My prediction is as more EVs become more popular and the country continues to improve infrastructure, used V8s value will drop in value because most people won't be buying them anymore. We are so niche compared rest of the car industry. Us V8 Mopar guys probably make up like 1% of the car market lol. Only if you have a super rare Hellcat with low miles, those would be the only few Mopars that will hold value. Welcome to the purge! Haha smh. 👺👹😈

Not their fault, blame Stellantis for it. They're making the best of it and everyone's shitting on a vehicle that actually has the potential to make every other electric performance vehicle feel boring. Dodge has non artificial sound, a manual electromechanical gearbox, amazing looks and it has horsepower.

@@OzZy-13820 if you even knew anything about it you'd know its not fake, the fratzonic tuning chamber amplifies the sound the electric motors make. The car is as loud as a hellcat, 126 decibels.

@@ry_hellcat1562 it's unfair because most of the dealers got maybe 1 allocation so they are gonna mark it to the moon and other dealers, mostly near big cities got upwards of 60 allocations. They should have left all the orders in a big pool for whatever dealership to draw out of until empty.

What a shame to the loyal fans who have supported the brand all these years …we should never have to be scrambling for a last call order on the hemi. This is what made the brand popular.
Tried to place an order at the local dealership for a HC Redeye this morning. I was told that I had to pay a $20k non-negotiable markup.
Waving bye-bye, and want to thank Dodge for creating an environment to allow ‘stealerships’ to act in this manner.

I purchased a new Charger Scat Pack right off the truck last month. I had to pay full sticker and the dealer didn't give me any of the "slotting fee" money they saved by now having to put the car on the lot/showroom. If these cars weren't going away, I would of said FU. Oh and thank Brandon's EPA for these cars not meeting the emissions requirements and having to go away.

Where are you getting this information from? Every Top Ten list that I look at for the most commonly stolen vehicles in America, there’s no Chargers or Challengers anywhere on them. In fact, the only CDJR vehicle on any of them is the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Not only will the Dodge Challenger and Charger, your fan base and enthusiasts will be gone as well. They will be walking back into the open arms of Ford, because they remain loyal to their enthusiasts.
Dodge was forced to go electric. The transition to EVs wasn't their fault, blame Stellantis for it. It doesn't have anything to do with loyalty.

I own a Dodge Challenger, and I just think it's a wonderful all around vehicle and it's truly beautiful.
I think stellantis is making a mistake discontinuing the Challenger and then the charger in ice form. I don't think muscle car buyers are looking for electric muscle cars. Good luck with that, you're going to need it.

I live in germany... Just reservated my Scat Pack. Owning one in germany is very expensive (one filling about 100€) i know that all my money will go into this but i am really afraid that i can't get an affordable one in future. They will rise in price. And it's my dream car

My dealership is charging over MSRP and not accepting any Employee discounts nor Friends and Family.
10K over MSRP for regular Scats
20K over MSRP for Specialty Scats
20K over MSRP for any Hellcat
And Dodge is not just allowing the Dealers to charge this but is encouraging this unlike Ford or GM... I will not support this practice. Dodge good luck on your next adventures because I will not support this.
