Hello everyone! I realized in this video I made a few errors, one was a very big one & to address this, I'm going to pin a comment here for all to read. I love/appreciate all comments we get 1000%. Good & bad! I listen and try to respond to ALL OF YOU! I am a 1 man army. In this particular video, I was surprised because I saw a foot camera, my brain registered it as something NEW that I had never seen before. I am not sure why my brain didn't remember other than my head injury suffered through wrestling in high school kills my short term memory. I do apologize for making mistakes but hey, let's be honest, would you believe me as much if I tried to present a 'perfect' product, or would you rather have what you see? I leave it up to you to decide, if ya like whatcha see, HIT that subscriber button! I love what I do along with the live streams. I love showing you my evolution and growth. You all are the life blood of this channel & I would not be this far had it not been for your advices, critique & overall good energy. I love you all & hope you understand that being a 1 man army doing ALL of this, it is VERY easy to miss things or forget minutia. Thank you for understanding!

She uses 3 mics just on her snare. Apparently it works!

This dude, Vand3rHorst, is nowhere near as egregious a tool as Andrew Rooney, but when he says things like he hasn't put up a new Yoyoka reaction because he was waiting for her to upload new music, take that with a huge grain of salt. Because this guy hasn't even reacted to 1/5 of what's on her primary channel let alone all the music on the Soma's family channel.
I just don't understand the fake caveats. They're not necessary. He's not obligated to react to everything anyone does, but why pretend like the artist's catalog is light and he didn't want to exhaust what "little" content she has until she put up more music? (smh)
That and the fact that this guy JUST NOTICED her 3 camera set up, when she's had that set up for nearly every video of hers that he has on his channel. How are these reactors reacting to shit they aren't paying attention to? He probably does think she only has 10 videos on her channel.

@@jackspratt7264 I didn’t want to be nitpicky but there are already tons of misinformation out there and it’s just a disservice to the source (Yoyoka) and viewers who wants to learn more about Yoyoka. With saying that, Van’s cool. Hope he’ll correct the booboo on his next Yoyoka vid. So far, he’s pretty good at listening to his viewers (suggestions). I have a brain injury, am a 1 man army, publish, research, watch, react, edit, write music & do everything myself, so it is very easy to miss little details. I do remember now she has had a foot camera forEVER but for some reason my brain said This angle is new. I do try to take accountability for the mistakes made & I do want to correct her! Yoyoka is my absolute favorite to react to, I understand I've reacted to her 18 times, 16 of which she has the foot camera but hey, if I didn't make a mistake here n there, would you really believe me as much? or think I am authentic? I leave mistakes, bloopers, all that in as much as possible because I want you all to see the REAL me. I am not perfect, but I certainly try to improve. :) I do appreciate everyone who watches the videos, I do read/respond to every comment I possibly can within a disciplined timeframe. It is difficult to publish this much content as 1 person, but I do it because i LOVE it. Thank you for saying I am not a tool xD that made my whole year! I just want to be as real as possible. This isn't a game to me, this is my life, my career & I love doing this.

Vand3rHorst, dude, your powers of observation are astounding. Yoyoka has had a 3 camera set up including a "kick drum and pedal cam "FOR THE LAST 2 and 1/2 YEARS"!!!!!
That set up is in almost every single video of hers that you've reacted to. How did you just notice that right now when you usually watch her videos 2 TIMES in a row??
Wow. You reacted to her 18 times on your channel, dude and in 16 of those reactions she has a 3 camera set up with a kick drum cam. It would appear she "came a long way" since before you started reacting to her.
In all honesty, all kidding aside, how is it that you JUST NOW noticed that set up after covering nearly 20 videos of hers? The odds of you not seeing her camera set up before now are next to impossible, man. And some of those videos are from when she was 8 years old. She'll be 12 in a few days on Oct. 12th. So, she's not quite 12 yet. Either way, you literally have examples of that set up for nearly 4 years worth of her playing, however much time it takes you to edit and upload etc.. and what, you're not actually watching the videos? lol
    Weird.

Because I had a brain injury and it's often difficult to remember what I had for breakfast! I am a goof sometimes hahaha. @@vand3rhorst Well, if you're going to have an excuse, that's a pretty damned good one!
Here's my advice to you, given the fact that you are easily the best and most enthusiastic purveyor of drum videos on RUclips. Just so that you book mark yourself on the glaringly obvious things... Take notes and make a few post-it's of topics you cover. That way it will help you stay grounded and focused even when you're having trouble neurologically and it will help remind you of where you've been. Kind of like Guy Pierce in that Christopher Nolan movie "Memento", if you've ever seen that.
Leave a paper trail for yourself around your computer so that you know that you covered a topic, even if you don't recall at the moment. That way you won't have to explain your health to nit-pickers like me and your content will stay fresh as a spring afternoon! lol
And really don't forget to stop by Yoyoka's channel for her birthday event this Sunday!

I have like...no one in my life who really tells me these things, so it's a good thing that the reacts help me learn more about myself, along with the artist! You are very kind my friend to call me among the best, I am such a small channel. I often mention how much work goes into this, but if I had to start all over again I would do it in a heartbeat because it really is fun to me, not work. Quick side note about 'glaringly' obvious notes, about 9.9/10 times I try not to watch a video at all before doing my reacts to it because, as a viewer, I love a genuine reaction and this is the only true way possible to do that. Taking the little notes, about past videos as you mentioned will definitely help me keep my thoughts straight. Some of my older videos I catch myself repeating about 3-5x haha.

    • @jackspratt7264
      @jackspratt7264 2 года назад

@@vand3rhorst That's the spirit, man! Glad to be able to give some productive advice!
Once you iron out those small kinks you're golden, because your format is really good and your enthusiasm is genuine.
You're one of the ONLY PEOPLE who has the awareness enough to actually watch a video through once in it's entirety BEFORE you analyze it, instead of pausing every 3 seconds on something you've never seen all the way through before.
That makes such a HUGE difference because it shows that you get the value of taking something in and absorbing it in it's full context BEFORE you break it down.
That makes your reactions awesome because it's just fun to just watch another fan be blown away by good musicianship. The commentary, rightfully, should come after.
Anyway, keeping doing your thing, brother and keep growing the channel, which is growing pretty fast already! lol

I saw this last night and decided I should sleep on it to come up with the correct answer. I used to be quick to anger when someone did not believe something I said and I realize now that there is nothing for me to prove. The gist is I was a wrestler in high school, wasn't wearing my headgear during 2 seperate incidents & suffered for not protecting myself the right way. I am not asking you or telling you to believe anything brother, makes no difference to me. I put this info out there for the discernment of you all & whether you choose to believe me or not is no skin off my nutsack simply because you were not there when I was paralyzed in the hospital with my dad making jokes about being put into a child's hospital room instead of an adult. You weren't there but that's ok! I point these things out merely because I have zero reason to embellish anything that has happened to me in life. I just put it out there like cards on a table. I will let you make your own decision. No ill will either way friend.
