There are two types demonstrated here. One is a bead cap and the other is simply the end of an acorn nut (the cap of the acorn) Also can see me using a bell etc. Anything really that makes a bowl shape.
Awww...thank you so much for your kind words. It is awesome to share out crazy hobby. I totally enjoy it but only need a few more hours in the day. Or maybe just two days for everyday....Right? Which is your favorite video so far? I'm working on another one, but I'm running a challenge on Instagram and currently i'm participating on the Online Miniature Show ...lots of good deals, additional 20% off discount from Nov 17-21st, gifts, prizes and a draw. Thank for sharing this project! This is definitely going on my project list! Another great tip using a cork to drill into. I have found that the emery boards (nail files) from the dollar store work great for sanding small pieces since they are less bulky than a sheet of sandpaper.
Another Terrific and DOABLE tutorial Fatima! FYI: As I was watching I started searching through my wood bits to see what I had on hand, (so I can make one) I found some unvarnished square wood blocks which I'd purchased from Michaels along with a package of 28 pre-painted wood blocks from the craft aisle at Dollarama ( 0.47 inches / 1.2 cm) which I do believe will fit the bill, so I'm excited and looking forward to giving your tutorial a try! I'll keep you posted :D
I use the wood laminate for flooring. I ordered off Amazon and even though there us a lot, it will cover multiple floors to resemble hardwood floors. Scraps can be used for other projects luke the coffee grinder.
That is so cute, I really love birdhouses of any size. it would be perfect for my gnome home. Thank you for sharing it.
