I've watched so much Overcooked by so many players and you can definitely tell these two have some extensive experience in the kitchen: no yelling (they're actually so quiet I had to turn the volume up high), they've never played but know exactly what to do. It's so weird, they're too calm XD
As a line cook for almost 20 years, if you both have video gaming experience this is cake. It mimics a real line fairly well but with less pressure and complexity.
@@alexanderchristopher6237 No but it doesnt seam all that possible to find someone who actually escaped prison they would need someone who escaped got caught and went back to serve out their sentence anyone in that position is probable really old at that point
i love how they fell into that lull of pros just in the zone when the orders are endless and they just seamlessly work together around a huge kitchen w/multiple people. credit to the developer for getting that frantic commercial kitchen vibe lol
This is how real kitchens work. I'm also a chef. We must communicate and if I say "switch" you drop absolutely everything and take over my station without skipping a beat.
It's a warning to not back up or turn around while someone is behind you. In a kitchen someone can be carrying a hot pan or a tub of cold prepped food, and turning around or bumping can cause injuries or waste, both of which are undesirable in a kitchen.
What's really fun is when people have a late night Saturday shift followed by set up/prep for the Sunday brunch shift. It happens, people flake out and somebody does a double.
@Lily Valac that makes me so sad to hear. I want to go into the life as well but I never hear anything positive about it. I don't know one chef who actually wants to be there and it breaks my heart :( makes me feel like I'm making a huge mistake haha
Jesus. This comment thread makes me feel really bad for restaurant workers. It's a shame because I love restaurant food, so the people who make it should be paid more and treated better.
Yo, late comment, but I have to say - it’s a passion project. You do not enter the culinary field for money, you do it for heart. If you don’t have that, you won’t make it out alive. Plenty of people join when they just need a paycheck (for example, students) - thus a negative report. However, if you have the right motivation and intention, you can learn and grow a lot. It all comes down to where your heart is. This is coming from a culinary professional.
I've seen so many people play this game, or should I say attempt to play this game, but this was so damn satisfying to watch. If they had a channel, I'd sub happily haha Communication and changeovers are where it all goes wrong in this game. And when people forget their tasks.
