I hope Tiger makes it all the way, at least in a playoff. Yes, that swing with the driver looked to be a bit painful late in the round, I just hope he can maintain for four straight days of the Masters.

I am glad that he made 1 under par in the 1st round and is just 4 back. I hope his body holds up after today, so he can have a better putting tomorrow. I also hope the 1st round has taken some of the pressure off. He can still play golf.
For first time back playing again in a Major Tournament, Tiger played amazing at -1 under par. On some of the holes he did hit the green in regulation but they rolled back off the sloped greens. We will see how Tiger does tomorrow with his legs after walking the first day on the Masters hilly course. Thanks for the highlights video.
what I liked about his round is that he shot short on about 2 or 3 greens...(ball rolling off the green) but was still able to get pars on those holes.. he scrambled on quite a few holes as well.. on a windy day at Augusta... coming off a terrible life threatening injury.. he played so amazing, felt like OG Tiger... cant wait for day 2 and beyond honestly... his putting was amazing btw.. sooooo many saves
I was lucky enough to follow Tiger for 9 holes at the 2001 tour championship on Sunday. Got right behind him on a bunch of different shots. I was actually a club pro at the time and thought I was decent, but his level of play was unlike anything I’d ever seen. Like transcendental. His swing was perfection back then.
Outstanding even with everything he's gone through physically that he can still play at this caliber is insane. A lot of really close ones here too that could have easily went his way. He keeps playing like this and he could definitely take it.
Other than the par3’s and the greens, this is like a new course for tiger. He’s never had to play some of these shots before. It’s great to see him back, like Ben Hogan.
In the 90 s when Tiger first started to golf I was working at Devon Golf Course in Alberta and just seeing how he has changed the outlook on golf is Amazing ⛳⛳⛳

Remember how they tiger proofed this course for him when he was younger.... well after several years and even a severe accident I'd say tiger still reigns supreme
I've never been the biggest Tiger fan to be honest, but what he has managed to accomplish with his last Masters and now this one is simply unbelievable and gives me goosebumps. You cannot help but marvel at the dedication and talent he has, I can't think of many athlete's that could come back like he has so many times during his career, regardless of the sport.

That was really some high end coverage for the 1st round of this year's Masters. Show Woods' shot, go to the range and show some players warming up for their round, show some highlights of Woods' previous shots for the round, go to commercials, come back from commercials and repeat. I find his tempo to be off just a little. Sometimes a little rushed. This is compared to some of his range shots a day or two ago.
