Tiger running in that putt is IMO the 2nd greatest moment in the history of the PGA Championship. I do that once in a while when I make a long putt, all because of Tiger.
To me Tiger is the GOAT of all sports. People don't know how hard golf is. It's way harder to pick up and waaaaay harder to master than any other sport.
@@brandon7957Baseball and golf are difficult in the same way, requiring great precision and accuracy while performing at max effort. Baseball that mostly applies to pitching.
Bob May was incredible that day. But damn Tiger just never seemed to miss when it counted. May would be inside for birdie and Tiger would strike first. What a day for golf!!
There is literally nothing bob may could have done...he played the absolute best golf of his life, theew everything he had at him and made him sweat, but tiger is just cut from a different cloth
I don't know why he changed his swing later on. His early swing looked more natural and fluid and similar to old timers of the game. Here he looks so Ben Hoganesque.
Ran too much, lifted the wrong way and played Army Ranger all mistakes that shortened his prime. He’s a weird dude. But the greatest player of all time.
Man did they have great camera angles back then. In Nba too. It looked like a video game at times. Coincidently Tiger Woods 2004 was best golf game ever made even to this day. I have 200+ hours on that.

Man, that second shot into 18 in regulation is so cool to watch. The great camera angle, and the fact that tiger blocked it by MAYBE three yards. He hits his target there, and that ball is stuffed, tournament over. We don’t get that moment of him walking in the putt in the playoff.
It was the putt on the next hole that jump started his round. He had some great looks at birdie on the first 5 or 6 holes that were just an inch or two off line. He was striking the ball very well. Seeing one of those putts finally drop is the reason for the momentum boost. Sure, the wedge on the previous hole lead to a tap in, but getting up and down from 40 yards is pretty routine. Dropping the 15 footer for birdie on the next hole was what he needed to see. The fist pump says it all.
True story. I used to make fun of golf when I was younger and claiming it wasn't even a real sport 😅 the Tiger Roar is what pulled me into the sport and I play golf more than what was my favorite sport then of basketball. I miss the glory days of Tiger! Watching him on the field now kinda reminds me of how the Golden Bear was back in the days when Tiger was coming up!
Hole #17 on the playoff.........skips it off the cart path onto the green for a par.......intentional? I think so #GOAT 🐐🔥 Bunker shot on #18 couldn't have been better for the win.
Bob may got robbed... TW shot off the tee @ 23:46 went left and landed in those bushes at 23:55, then that man ran into the bushes and disappeared from camera view at 24:00... then the ball comes out and into a clearing at 24:03.... he straight up "helped" that ball out of those bushes for TW.
Tiger here in his prime has to battle it out in a playoff to beat Bob May. Point is golf is about the field wins more than the best player does. Tiger got it done this day. But had he not, a forgettable Bob May pulling out a win would not have been shocking. And that is why LIV is not special. You can’t just pay John Rahm 500 mil and think all the fans that were glued to their seats during Tiger’s heyday will instantly feel the same about LIV.
If using Titleist use the word to match with the target line and keep the arrow on the side of the ball parallel with the putter face. Easier to tell if the putter face is off line since Titleist and the arrow are perpendicular
Most scratch golfers, hitting those last 2 tee shots on 17 and 18 in the playoff would make bogey or worse 9 out of 10 times. Tiger makes pars. Thats the reason he was the greatest. The closer he got to the hole the more deadly he became! The main problem is when we hit in in the cabbage, its in the cabbage, Tiger is on a nice bare lie trampled down by carts and people, not behind a tree!
He was THE highlight of my 20s, 30s - my favorite athlete ever - just truly gifted and blessed

I think I'd agree. Most other sports are more about athletic ability where golf is extremely skill based.
Baseball has entered the chat
Golf is harder than other other sport. Way harder than baseball. 😂😂

Not having to listen to announcers is wonderful.
Amen to that. Sometimes, I'd mute the TV for a little bit because of the bs these commentators say.
the tv is makes me adorable for his journey and dedication😅

It’s amazing. The Masters did a channel last year where you could hear the sounds of the course and tournament but no announcers. It’s was AMAZING!
10 minutes of additional editing (adding scores of Tiger and Bob after each hole) and this video would be 100x better.
Valhalla better do those crazy stripes on their fairways this year... such a cool and unique look

Listen carefully. Without tiger woods golf would be 10 times less popular. He is golf’s messiah.

Deserved to win it the whole way. So many of those putts could’ve easily dropped and been clear of the field after the front 9.

This is great. Love the minimalism of no announcers, but showing a score bug and occasional leaderboard would also be helpful.
