Yang’s victory was significant as it marked the first time Tiger Woods lost a major when leading after 54 holes.
He was born the son of a poor farmer in Korea and started playing golf by observing others while working part-time at a driving range after graduating from high school.

What a feeling that would be for Yang, knowing he went toe to toe with Tiger, one of the best golfers in history and coming out on top. That's a feeling no one else got to experience on day 4 of a major with Tiger in the lead. He is forever a legend, especially with that hybrid shot on 18!

And he doesn’t win another major until the 2019 masters.

Mr Yang as underdog so he has no worry, just play his game and momentum. As for tiger, he was not at his best that day and second Yang surprised Tiger how good he play that makes his mental game meltdown. Sport is funny game specially golf. When you think you gonna try hard but momentum is not on your side, the harder you try the worst gets. I think Yang gets into Tiger’s head a bit that day Yang he’s nobody but man he’s head to head with Tiger that will gets into Tiger’s head for sure. What a great final day. Congrats to Mr Yang. I was there. I think Yang went on to win a few tournaments and after that he disappeared
