Thank you so much for this video! I'm scheduled for left & right cataract surgery in January. My pre-op is December 30. I have a significant astigmatism; and, trying to decide if enVista Envy Toric is worth several thousand dollars. My USA ophthalmologist has highly recommended it.
That was incredible! So I didn't see you put a lens in! How well-known is this kind of procedure for cataracts? Where is your office located? I'm in Colorado.
Great work and beautiful rhexis in a challenging capsule. Do you modify your target for a post-vitrectomized eye and if so, what’s your target? Thanks!
Can you provide a comparison of the Johnson & Johnson Odyssey vs. the Envy for near vision? These lenses both seem excellent for going spectacle-free, but I would like to optimize reading.
Great video !!! I'm scheduled for surgery next month; I have a high degree of astigmatism and near-sightedness. Had detached retina horseshoe repair in 2012, and the current status is "Paving Stone Degeneration of Retina."The macula is intact, and my doctor has suggested an LAL lens. After seeing this video and reading stuff online such as "LAL may be an option if the patient is NOT at high risk for retinal detachment" and "doing cataract surgery risks disturbing the vitreous gel, thus endangering the retina" I am now wondering if (1) I should go for Multifocal instead of LAL (2) should I avoid cataract surgery altogether since I had a prior detached retina? There is plenty of info online regarding the risks of retinal detachment AFTER cataract surgery, but not much discussing the risks and options for those who have had the issue before and now face cataract surgery. Thanks in advance and thanks for ALL the excellent videos !!
Hi Dr. Krad, great video as always. What A constant are you using for the Envy? I am also waiting for you to post an Odyssey vs Envy comparison in your patients. I really value your input!

The big question... What is the average cost per eye?
Great video !!!
