    I'm super against meditation for myself as I thought it was unnecessary but I've come to realize I think and worry about so much that I no longer act on anything so I'm now opening up to meditation to relax and gain control

    “Trying” to stop thinking is like trying to calm a body of water by swatting it with your hands. You can’t stop thinking! Begin to understand your thinking as thought “process”, not your thoughts as nouns or things. The flapping roof that is your brain is innocent - it’s supposed to think - it’s a beautiful thing to think. The movie in your mind can only disturb you if you give it the permission to do so. Tell yourself, “I love that my mind wants to think, my thinking is beautiful, my thinking can be dark, it can be pretty, it can also be horrible, I love that about my mind.” Your mind is the most beautifully sophisticated tool on the face of the earth, so stop declaring war on it by trying to “stop” it.

      Namaste Juan. Very nice question. In meditation we are working to simply be a witness, to observe the workings of the mind, its tendencies and patterns. Over time we will find that the mind likely returns to the same thoughts/patterns. As we practice meditation more we will be able to find more space between the thoughts, space that we can rest in, where we can connect to our true nature. Hari Om.

      @@JuanRodriguez-gj5zk Namaste! This is wonderful that you are beginning a meditation practice. It is important to remember that meditation is not about silencing the mind, rather to witness the mind, notice where it goes, and not get pulled away with the story or drama. Over time, with dedication to the practice, you will find that the mind begins to create space between the thoughts, slowly and steadily, that space begins to increase. For beginning, we recommend start with just 5 minutes of meditation. You can do this in the morning, as well as multiple times throughout the day. Then little by little begin to increase the amount of time. Don't worry so much about controlling the mind, just sit as a witness to what occurs within.     Grt!! This help me too much to be calm ever than before..... Before when I was meadiating I thought god in my mind... AND WONDER WHY I DONT GET calmness... But now I knew we have to no think too much... And blank ur mind.... Thanku😊

    I got too much forehead pain during meditation, even i have started less thinking and didn't force on third eye. I also relaxing my brain, all over body but after 1-2 min forehead pain starting. What should I do? After meditation my brain getting heavy and feeling hard on top of my nose 😔

    Im haveing problems meditating since i started almost 6months ago and right out the gate it was great then christmas and got covid and it messed everything up but i,m still trying just not everyday like i used to and most of the time my 1 thought is trippy to me,I see (my self my soul) looking at my physical form and meditating to me and 😂 i'm giveing my self a pep talk and oddly enough i respond.
