OMTech 100W Laser walkaround

OMTech 100W laser upgraded. Walkaround video to show some of the upgrades made from the previous release.

I bought the same laser cutter, I did not find any instructions on what distance to set the laser tube from the mirror frame, what did you do?

I called omtech and they said it doesnt really matter. Anywhere from .5-1.5inch

I have the Orion 100w laser and recently it has started engraving a letter and when half way through it moves to another position to complete the letter. Is there a manual available to help trouble shoot problems?

I haven’t found one but if you haven’t figured it out yet I’m willing to help troubleshoot

Perhaps a 'grouping' problem in your software? You need to group your letters as one after any editing or the software may think its multiple, seperate vectors. Rdworks certainly has this issue. Also check the cut priority for your vectors and it may just be a simple case of making sure all the cut vectors for your letters are together in the list insttead of all over the place.

Hi Michelle yes it does! The red door that you see with the two white clips on. That’s the pass trough door. One on the back as well.
