    Robert Hitchens - The Man Who Sank the Titanic - carried that title with him for the rest of his life. Besides driving the Titanic into an iceberg, questions of his actual culpability arose as well as whether he purposefully allowed drowning passengers to die rather than attempt to save those he could.
    The event haunted his life ending in an attempted murder and two suicide attempts. In today’s episode of Eccentric Sundays, we look at the man and the stories surrounding Robert-Hichens - the man who sank the Titanic.
