We were on a night flight with them maybe seven to ten years ago, from LA to London. They were a couple of rows in front of us and I woke up in the night and will never forget the way Kurt was looking down at Goldie while she was asleep, with such love in his eyes. Priceless love

The secret is marrying your best friend. You have to like each other. When you like someone and enjoy their company you want to be with them all the time and you miss them when they're gone. That makes staying together a piece of cake.

@Kimberly. Sandalwood Thank you. Good post. I understand. I have been married for 47 years. My wife and I first met when I was 10 and she was 9. We still have our prom photo. We have been through ups and downs, including deaths and cancer. Some days are difficult, but we persevere.
My husband of 34 years was always my best friend. In th entire time we were together we only had 2 serious arguments. And those were both over before nighttime. We lived by the rule "Never go to sleep angry with your partner." He died of a massive stroke April 17th shortly after his 67th birthday and I still have no idea what to do with that big hole in my chest where he should be.

Love them both! They are both down to earth, with no airs, adore their kids & grandchildren and have such a fun, lighthearted outlook on life. They have both been dearly loved their whole careers! No “airs”& no “diva-big star attitudes”, the two of them are such a joy to listen to in thus interview. Loved Goldie in First Wives Club, Private Benjamin & Cactus Flower but Kurt was absolutely a riot in the movie “Captain Ron!” Loved them both so much in the movie 🎥 Overboard!

The memories, the inside jokes and loving the same people really is everything for any long-term relationship. These two pretty much grew up together. They learned each other's boundaries, established trust, learned to forgive and know how to laugh together.

One of my fav hollywood couple, they seem like normal people not rich spoiled actors like many others.
Goldie’s father kept her grounded. He told her once that if she thought she was ever a “big shot”, or big deal in Hollywood, that she should always remember she’s just a grain of sand in the big ocean of life. That she will be forgotten too someday. He was full of those wisdoms. It shows they had a strong effect on her by her beliefs.
Although Kurt is equally grounded, it seems he’s learned more from her wisdom. 🌝🙏🦃🥧🎃🐿

They may not be married in the eyes of the courts but they are most certainly married in their hearts and their minds and so they are married to one another. They are also more married than my mom ever was with any of her last three husbands! 😂
You know what's really sweet? Kurt was absolutely delighted when Goldie said he had never made a mistake in acting and had never been bad in anything. He was so happy and beaming when she said that. He felt like a success in her eyes, and you can tell that was a great thing to him.

What Ive always admired about Kurt Russell is he always had the good looks and celebrity status to be a real player in Hollywood, hooking up with lots of Hollywood starlets, and maybe he did some of that, but I know he got with Goldie at a pretty young age, and they've been together ever since.

I so loved “IT HAPPENED AT THE WORLD’S FAIR” as a little girl & always wanted to go to the top of the “Space Needle” in Seattle because of that movie! Went to Toronto several yrs ago on a business trip & was thrilled to go to the top of the “CNN Tower” when there but I still want to get to the top of Space Needle someday, hopefully, as exciting as the CNN TOWER was!

I'll always remember Goldie as the Go Go Dancer on Laugh-In, which was one of the funniest variety shows in the late 1960s-1970s. Her sparkling eyes and giggly laugh is so memorable. She is still great. They make such a nice couple, where they are down-to-earth.
I see two people that are totally comfortable being themselves around each other. You have to support growth in life and not hold the other back because you are afraid of being left behind.

Kurt Russel has always been my favorite actor. He and I are the same age so I have grown up with him! Can't wait to see their new movie. One movie he did that I loved was "Silkwood" where he was Meryl Streep's boyfriend, He was just perfect. This movie was released in 1983 and was very popular. It was based on a true story and won many Oscars at the time. Cher won best supporting actress. If you can find it you will be pleasantly surprised by how well done it was.
Family is everything and I’m adopted but my parents were so good to me I feel like I’m a real part of my family because of the love ❤️ my Father adopted me and he calls me his son and I feel very much loved by my family.

My grandmother told me this once too. She and grandpa lived together for 55 years. Grandpa outlived her for 10 years. But only bc he LOVED to live. We only get what we really whant.
God the older Kurt Russel gets the better looking he gets ,and Goldie she’s just as beautiful as ever.

Her face is blown up like a balloon. If you pay attention to her hands they look like those of a 90 year old woman. No surgery can help them. I think actors would be better off just aging gracefully as opposed to trying to be eternally youthful.

The decision to "want to be together" gets you through anything because you make a choice to prioritize the relationship! Sadly, that has a lot to do with the gender gap back them. She was blonde and beautiful. Creators were men and they wanted people to BELIEVE she was "super dingy". But Weinstein sure couldn't get her to turn, so that right there says how smart she really is! :)

Always loved her. My first introduction to Goldie was when she did “Laugh- In.” She cracked me up, what a doll face.
I recommend Goldie’s book “A lotus grows in the mud”. It’s her autobiography. And a line from there has stayed with me since: “Take care of your parents. You’ll never be loved like that again.” Makes me cry every time.
