Sounds like “it’s a good game but it wasn’t so much for me” based on your final thoughts. I really like Iki because of the player interaction with the cards. I didn’t like the 2 player game as much for some reason but 3 player was good and I bet 4 players would be great too. There’s an expansion coming out sometime this year.
Thanks for the video of a very good game :) Something I would've like to be different is the victory point you get for having all color at the end of the game. This only goes once, and I find that everyone has no difficulty doing it so I would've like something like points for same colour too or scaling sets of color...

played it at Essen Spiel and loved it ever since. It's just a good balance of chaos (because of fire) and tactic planning.
