Marcin Dylla deserves the highest praise for his guitar playing. His technique and sensitive interpretation of the music is wonderful. It is a real blessing to have such a superb virtuoso on RUclips.
A polish guitarrist playing music inspired by a austrian , composed by a mexican for a spanish player: music truly is universal. Anyway, loved it, loved it, loved it. Greetings from Mexico City.
A lovely reading of this hommage to Schubert. capturing many aspects of Schubert's style - not least his melodic flair, and extended treatments of thematic material over inventive modulations. Powerful drama in this interpretation, almost ballad-like in many places
Ariel Beliz these videos are part of a DVD which naturally has a professional audio recording and editing. Because of RUclips quality it does not sound so good but it’s still great to listen to.
I believe it's the Schott version, edited by Segovia. The only other edition I know of is the scholarly edition by Tilman Hoppstock based on the manuscripts (also published by Schott), and which features a number of fragmented/unfinished passages with no fingerings. That being said, it's very possible Dylla changed a number of fingerings from the edition, which is a common practice among professionals.
For all you haters out there who think this guitarist is the worst they've ever heard, saying he has no talent, making fun of his hair and his big nose, you need to be a little more forgiving and remember that not everybody is perfect. Just enjoy the music for what it is and don't compare him with superior guitarists because it's not a contest.

He's great, he's fantastic and he's got that wild man hair, like Beethoven or Paderewski! Love it.
This is far and away my favorite performance / interpretation of this piece. Thank you!!!
Fine, Beautiful, Expressive guitar playing

Excellent performance! One can see that you are a superior player, a cut above most others.

Can somebody tell me which edition Marcin is using?
I think you mean the guitar. In the description is all the info. He was playing with a Double top Boguslaw Teryks, Poland when he recorded this video.
Thank you for the reply, but I do actually mean the edition of the piece, Sonata Romantica by Ponce.
Jason Lewis Oh that I don´t know :s sorry

Brendan Lake I often change fingerings but am not professional, think it just depends on what fits you best individually
What a beautiful sound and technique, although the 4th movemente should be more "non troppo e serioso" in my humble belief
I think it's perfect the way it is ....
quel musicien!! nom de .........!!
Why is Luke Skywalker playing the guitar? Also, bravo!
Because now he is using force with guitar instead of lightsaber ;) May the force be with You !
che sogno!
